Aktivitäten & Attraktionen: Nach etwa einer Stunde Fahrt besuchen wir die Terrakotta-Armee. Bereiten Sie sich darauf vor, von 7.000 lebensgroßen Terrakotta-Kriegern in einer authentischen Kampfformation überrascht zu werden, die seit über 2.200 Jahren unter der Erde begraben sind. (Die empfohlene Besichtigungszeit beträgt 2,5 Stunden, und das Gebiet ist größtenteils flach.) Die Museumsführung umfasst drei originale Gruben: Grube 1: Stellt die Hauptkampftruppe dar. Grube 2: Bekannt als "Flexible Troupe" (mobile Einheit). Grube 3: Dient als Kommandozentrale. Zweifellos ist dies eine unschätzbare Ressource für die Erforschung der Geschichte der ersten kaiserlichen Dynastie Chinas, der Qin-Dynastie.

Aktivitäten & Attraktionen: Die Giant Wild Goose Pagode, im Großen Ci'en Tempel in Xi'an, Provinz Shaanxi, China, ist eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Erbaut im Jahr 652 n. Chr. während der Tang-Dynastie, wurde es gebaut, um die buddhistischen Schriften, Reliquien und Statuen zu beherbergen, die von dem berühmten Mönch Xuanzang aus Indien mitgebracht wurden. Mit einer Höhe von 64.517 Metern hat die Pagode eine quadratische Grundfläche und sieben Geschosse. Seine einfache und elegante Architektur, mit grauen Ziegeln, die die Struktur bilden, zeigt den einzigartigen Stil der Tang-Dynastie Architektur. Im Inneren der Pagode befinden sich viele kulturelle Relikte und Inschriften, die für das Studium der antiken buddhistischen Kultur und Geschichte von großem Wert sind. Als Symbol der antiken Seidenstraße und Zeuge des kulturellen Austauschs zwischen China und Indien zieht die Riesenwildganspagode jedes Jahr zahlreiche Besucher aus dem In- und Ausland an.

I booked my first trip to Xi'an via Agoda and met Andy, a fantastic local guide who is friendly, responsible, and highly knowledgeable. He was incredibly thorough, even confirming our hotel location prior to pickup. Andy is very experienced, speaks fluent English, and brought the trip to life with delightful stories about local culture, including the Dragon Boat Festival. I wouldn’t have enjoyed it half as much if I had planned it myself! The transport arrangements were excellent, ensuring smooth travel between sites. A major highlight was a homely, delicious meal prepared by his family, who welcomed us with incredible hospitality. Furthermore, Andy’s expert local knowledge meant we secured the perfect photo spots at the Terracotta Army. I am deeply grateful for Andy's professionalism and warmth. I booked this tour based on previous reviews and can say my expectations were exceeded. Our guide Andy was extremely knowledgeable about the tour aspects as well as giving an insight into his family life. The lunch at his mother’s was fantastic and it was special to have this unique experience. In addition to seeing the highlights of Xi’an Andy arranged a private trip to Huanshan Mountain for us with his father providing the transport. The day turned out to be another memorable experience with his father singing a number songs during the drive and the views from the mountain not soon to be forgotten.

We had an amazing full-day Terracotta Warriors tour, and a big part of that was thanks to Willow. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Beyond explaining the history in a clear and engaging way, she also shared many insights about daily life in China and fun cultural curiosities, which made the experience feel much more personal and authentic. I chose the full-day tour, including the Xi’an City Wall and the Daci’en Temple, and it was absolutely the right choice. A very special thank you as well to Andy’s family for the wonderful homemade lunch. That was, without a doubt, the highlight of the entire itinerary — such a warm, genuine, and memorable experience that made us feel truly welcomed. This tour went far beyond expectations. If you’re visiting Xi’an and want a meaningful, well-rounded experience, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Fantastic day with the excellent guide Min. Started at the Terracotta Army museum and everything i hoped for. Then a fabulous lunch with local family before visiting the city wall and Wild Goose pagoda. Min was very attentive to mine and the other groups needs and a wealth of information. Highly recommend

This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip. Our guide, Willow, was full of information. We were never "rushed" at the site and were given ample time to see the pits. That said, at the end we spent a considerable time at a shop where we met the farmer who found the warriors, then we were rushed through the other marketplace at a fast pace. It would've been nice to have some time in the marketplace. When you walk in and see the first pit, that is the only time you see the warriors head on. It's very crowded, but definitely wait for a spot in the front and savor the moment. The lunch in the village was fabulous and I highly recommend that option. The city wall and pagoda were fascinating as well. I recommend this tour.
