Während der Fahrt durch die wunderschöne Algarve wird es den ganzen Tag über Getränke und Snacks geben. Bier, Wein, Softdrinks, Wasser und viele Vorspeisen. Die Algarve ist eine neue Portugiesische Weindestination, für das Land mit dem meisten Weinkonsum pro Kopf haben wir jetzt 60 Weingüter an der Algarve, nur 31 vor fünf Jahren. Ich habe zwei der besten und am meisten ausgezeichneten gefunden und möchte sie euch zeigen.
Abholung in Lagos um 12.30 Uhr, wir genießen eine 40-minütige Fahrt und erreichen entweder die Weinkellerei Quinta do Frances oder Villa Alvor. Hier probieren wir 3 Weine und erkunden die wunderschöne Umgebung des Weinguts.
Dieser wunderschöne Naturpark liegt abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade und ist ein echtes verstecktes Juwel der Algarve. Rund um den Rio Arcade gibt es viele schöne Wanderwege. Während unseres Spaziergangs können wir sogar an Fitnesspunkten teilnehmen oder im Süßwasser schwimmen. Hier genießen wir ein frisches Picknick und die wunderschöne Natur.
Das Weingut Quinta dos Vales ist ein wunderschönes Weingut mit Auszeichnung. Die Umgebung ist ziemlich atemberaubend mit Skulpturen und Aktivitäten durchweg. An diesem Stopp werden wir etwas Tawny Port und Schokolade genießen. Weinproben und Beschreibungen der Weine sind optional, aber unabhängig davon, werden Sie die Einstellung genießen.

If you’re looking for a typical wine tasting tour, this may not be for you. However Brodie was super friendly and an open book with no pretentiousness. We didn’t get to complete our full tour, but secondary to that, he dropped us off at the lighthouse so we could meander our way back to our AirBNB. We appreciated him making dinner reservations for us at an off-the -beaten-path restaurant which ended up being delicious!
We as a family did two of Brodie’s tours. The walking tour and the wine not tour. We learned a lot about the history of Lagos, very informative! The wine tour was great, simple, relaxing, coupled with great friendly company . The one thing that stood out for me was that Brodie has a passion for The Algarve region of Portugal! Simply fantastic!

If you’re expecting the usual stuffy wine tour with someone in a waistcoat talking about tannins while you politely nod and pretend to understand - this is definitely not that tour. From the moment you climb onto the minibus, the fun (and the wine!) begins. Brodie brings a brilliant vibe that makes you feel like you’ve joined a day out with a mate rather than signed up for a formal wine lecture. He’s down-to-earth, relaxed, hilarious, and genuinely passionate about Portuguese wine. We learnt loads about Portuguese wine without ever feeling like we were sitting through a lesson. Brodie has a way of sharing his knowledge that’s easy, entertaining and actually sticks - probably helped by the fact that there was plenty of wine involved! The whole day had such a great atmosphere: great wine, great laughs, fascinating stories and absolutely no wine snobbery. Just good people, good vibes and some seriously good Portuguese wine. If you want a wine tour that’s fun, relaxed and a little bit different, do yourself a favour and book this one. Just be prepared to laugh, learn and possibly develop a slightly more enthusiastic relationship with Portuguese wine than you intended! Highly recommended - and cheers to Brodie for making wine tasting so much fun! 🍷🤙
Brodie picked us up direct from our accomodation, we were a group of 13 so he kindly had arranged for his friend to assist with driving. The day was fantastic, we visited two wineries and stopped for a lovely picnic by a beautiful river. The whole group had a swim in the river, and enjoyed a lovely outdoor lunch with wine. Both wineries were great, with delicious wine. Brodie (and his mate Alonso) kept our drinks topped up at all times, and kept the tunes flowing over the speakers. We were told all about the wineries and the local area, we learned a lot - and then drank so much we forgot it all. Honestly this was such a good day, we'd do it again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend by all 13 of us.

Fantastic day out with Brodie, visiting 2 great wineries for tastings and a purchase or two. A casual outdoor picnic lunch at a secluded park was a great way to visit and share stories. A nice long day that wasn’t rushed with 8 or less people was perfect!!

Brodie is a genuine fun guy. If you want the run of the mill, dead behind the eyes tour don't use him. The tour is a grand afternoons fun. He brings out the best in people.
