Kleingruppentour - Max 10 Teilnehmer Eine kurze Fährfahrt und ein einfaches Fahrrad durch den Norden der Stadt und wir erreichen die Waterlands, die Landschaft etwas außerhalb von Amsterdam. Bald sind Kühe und Bauernschilder dran, die frisch zubereitetes Eis oder Milch anbieten. Wir diskutieren über Wasser- und Landwirtschaft, sehen eine Windmühle alter Schule, erklären, warum die Holländer so fahrradbegeistert sind und wie sie diese Wege während des Zweiten Weltkriegs auf der Suche nach den Gütern nutzten, die sie zum Überleben benötigten. Auf dem Weg gibt es viele Fotomöglichkeiten, während wir durch ein paar Dörfer fahren und anhalten, um alles zu genießen. Da die Niederlande relativ flach sind, muss man nicht in Topform sein, um teilzunehmen und das Elektrofahrrad macht es zum Kinderspiel. Wir verbringen die meiste Zeit außerhalb der Stadt für eine entspannte Radreise.

Um die Stadt zu verlassen, nehmen wir eine Fähre, die hinter dem Amsterdamer Hauptbahnhof liegt
Eine der neun verbliebenen Windmühlen in Amsterdam. Wir werden uns diese ansehen, wenn wir aus der Stadt Richtung Norden fahren.
Auf diesem Ausflug besuchen wir einige Dörfer im Norden und unternehmen eine entspannte Kreuzfahrt durch die Felder der Bauern.
Ein weiteres schönes Dorf hat eine schöne Kirche im Zentrum der Stadt. Gelegentlich legen wir eine kurze Pause ein, erklimmen die Kirche und genießen die Aussicht auf die Umgebung (je nach Verfügbarkeit).
Unser letztes Dorf bietet uns einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Hafen, bevor wir nach Amsterdam Nord zurückkehren.
Wir kehren nach Amsterdam zurück und machen einen Zwischenstopp, um eine ehemalige Werft mit einer wichtigen Geschichte zu besichtigen. Insgesamt werden wir etwa 90 Minuten bis 2 Stunden radeln und etwa 15 km zurücklegen

Great tour. Would do the longer 5-6h tour next time. So much fun getting out of the city and visiting the countryside Just need to be able to add a beer or coffee stop to make it even better Bikes were so good, power if needed but really new and nice to ride Kevin our guide struggled with English a bit as he is originally from the US (joke), but seriously he was super funny & nice and really made a huge effort to get to know everyone and regularly checked in to see if all was well. Would highly recommend this tour and perhaps consider the longer tour as 2.5 hours flew past really quickly.

Lovely trip to the Amsterdam countryside! Beautiful route, easy central location for departure/arrivals, comfortable bikes. Definitely worth the price. Guide was friendly and shared interesting facts along the way, but was new to the city/country and so couldn't answer questions if they were outside the script. I've noticed this throughout Amsterdam, as there are so many international and young folks that finding a local or more experienced guide is difficult. You will enjoy a great day with Those Amsterdames!

On the guide note: it's true she's newer to Amsterdam, but most of our guides have actually called NL home for 20+ years, with several having become Dutch themselves (and a few who were born here). That mix is something we're proud of — it means real depth, not just script-reading. That said, we're always on the lookout for new talent too, and your guide is a great example: still building her local knowledge, but she brings a genuine passion for this city and the kind of playful, fun energy that fits our tours perfectly. Those Amsterdames country side bicycle tour was an excellent afternoon. Our guide Kevin was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. He truly seemed to enjoy spending a couple hours with us in the tour. It was fun to get out of the hustle of the city and see some nearby villages..best part is stopping for an ice cream!! The e-bikes are easy to ride and the pace was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and book the longer tour with this fine company.
