Dies ist eine atemberaubende halbtägige geführte Radtour, bei der Sie die atemberaubende Küstenlandschaft des Wild Atlantic Way erleben können. Die Tour führt Sie über Landzungen und entlang wilder Strände durch die üppige, grüne irische Landschaft. Sie werden Kühe auf den Feldern grasen sehen und Feldfrüchte wie Mais, die im Wind leuchten und schwanken. Wir beginnen am Lusitania Museum/Old Head Signal Tower mit Blick auf die Old Head Gold Links, den Hafen von Cork und die wunderschöne Gegend von West Cork. Wir radeln an zwei Stränden entlang, bevor wir in einem traditionellen irischen Pub im Dorf Ballinspittle Halt machen. Hier genießen wir einen Tee/Kaffee oder ein Erfrischungsgetränk, bevor wir mit dem Fahrrad durch eine noch atemberaubendere Landschaft zu unserem Ausgangspunkt zurückkehren. Die Tour beinhaltet das Radfahren auf mäßig hügeligem Gelände. Sie ist für Paare, Gruppen und Familien mit älteren Kindern geeignet. Für Gruppen kann die genaue Tourroute an Ihre Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Fahrräder und Elektrofahrräder werden mit Helm und Warnweste bereitgestellt.

Unser Treffpunkt! Dies ist ein kleines Museum, das in einem alten Aussichtsturm untergebracht ist. Es gibt ein kleines Café und Toiletten.
Wir radeln einen Teil des Wild Atlantic Way, einer 2.600 km (1.600 Meilen) langen, markierten Autoroute entlang der Küste Irlands. Diese Route wurde ausgewählt, um die schönsten Landschaften und kulturellen und historischen Erlebnisse der Gegend zu bieten.
Wir radeln an diesem wilden Strand entlang und erfreuen uns oft daran, Menschen beim Schwimmen und bei anderen Wassersportarten wie Surfen und Kiteboarden zu beobachten.
Wir machen Halt für einen Tee/Kaffee oder ein Erfrischungsgetränk in einem Pub im farbenfrohen Dorf Ballinspittle. Bei schönem Wetter können wir im Biergarten sitzen.
Die verbleibende Zeit verbringen Sie mit Radfahren durch die Landschaft.
Wir beenden unsere Tour wieder dort, wo wir begonnen haben, am Old Head of Kinsale. Warum schauen Sie nicht im Museum vorbei und besuchen die Dachterrasse, um noch mehr atemberaubende Ausblicke auf die Gegend zu genießen?

Our guide, Ruth, was amazing! The entire experience was wonderful. I highly recommend.
Ruth was extremely helpful with getting our bikes booked and ready, she is so responsive to emails and was on hand on the phone when needed. The bikes were excellent quality and perfect for a cycle along the coastline - E bikes recommend for those hills ! The views were stunning and Ruth recommended the perfect route. We booked the e-bikes for three 50-something aged couples of mixed biking/athletic ability. The “pedal assist” bikes were easy to use and made the tour struggle free for everyone. I hadn’t rode a bike in 40 years, but all of my nerves dissipated minutes after I started riding. Our tour guide, Ruth, was amazing. She took us along the coast, through a forest, and along scenic back roads. Her historical and cultural knowledge of the area is unmatched. Most of all, Ruth was patient and kept us safe on the bikes and roads. Our stop at the cafe gave us time to enjoy truly delicious scones, tea and cappuccino, as well as breath taking views of beaches and the water. I highly recommend making this tour part of your itinerary if you are visiting the Kinsale area. Worth every penny, and you will feel like you accomplished some real physical activity, even though the bikes are set to do all the “work” for you if you want them to.
