⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic day outside Bandung – thanks to our amazing guide Addis What a wonderful day we had with Addis! We got in the car at 8 am at his place for a day trip of about 9 hours through the beautiful surroundings of Bandung. Addis was not only our driver, but especially our guide and pleasant companion. From the first moment there was a click. Addis speaks perfect English, has a great sense of humor, and knows a lot about Indonesia, its history, culture, and daily life. We could ask him about his life and in the meantime, nice conversations arose about each other's countries, travels, and dreams. After the busy traffic of Bandung – especially an endless stream of scooters – we drove into the mountains. Our first special stop was to taste Kopi Luwak. Then the journey continued to Kawah Putih, the famous White Crater at an altitude of 2,343 meters. The journey there was an experience in itself: endless tea plantations roll over the hills and the landscape becomes increasingly impressive. The crater itself is spectacular. The greenish crater lake, the sulfur deposits, and the rising fumes make it a very special place. Addis enthusiastically told about the volcanic environment and the history of Bandung in the meantime. After a delicious local lunch, where we asked Addis for advice, we drove on past even more tea plantations and strawberry fields. And then came perhaps the most surprising part of the day: Cibuni Rengganis Crater. We reached this quiet geothermal spot via an impressive suspension bridge of about 370 meters long. Steam came out of the cracks in the earth and there were several natural hot springs. Of course we couldn't resist putting on our swimwear and immersing ourselves in the warm sulfur baths. After that, there was even a mud bath. 😄 We completely immersed ourselves in the healing mud and indeed felt reborn afterwards. As a finale, we also went over the valley with a cable car. The whole day was perfectly organized and Addis made sure we felt safe and comfortable everywhere. He knew exactly when he had to tell something, when we could stay somewhere longer, and where we could eat well. Addis, thank you so much for this fantastic day! Thanks to you, we not only saw beautiful places around Bandung, but also learned a lot about Indonesia and had a very pleasant day. A day with Addis is absolutely recommended if you want to discover Bandung and the beautiful surroundings in a personal way. 🌋🍓🌿

Perfect, our guide was exceptional.

The tour was very well organized; we were out from morning until evening, but still had time to ourselves. The tour guide was passionate, in a good mood, and was able to answer all questions. The absolute highlight of the tour was the hot springs.

I really enjoyed the day tour with Regina. Although we arrived at the destination later due to traffic, we spent enough time at all tour stops, also because we returned later than planned. Regina was super friendly and helpful and actively supported me during my photo sessions. The restaurant where I had lunch did have a nice view of the tea plantations, but unfortunately it was on a heavily traveled and very noisy road. I therefore did not enjoy lunch that much, but of course it was not a core element of the day tour either. I would recommend discussing various options for lunch with the guests in advance. I would also recommend warning the guests that the hot springs are reached via a rickety-looking chairlift - not for the faint of heart. I can definitely recommend the day tour with Regina! We booked the tour the day before. Within 10 minutes we already had contact about all the information and pickup location. We also had contact with our guide Ms. that evening. Regina. She made our tour unforgettable 🥰 In the morning she picked us up at our hotel. Then we drove with the car with air conditioning to the hotspots. She knew fun facts/stories about the hotspots. Besides, she let us try traditional snacks. Be careful, these are quite spicy🥵 There was enough time everywhere to enjoy the beautiful views and take photos📸 At the hot springs, we took a nice dip in the water. If you still have doubts, I can only say do it!!!

I booked through get Your Guide and was guided by Bamz. He was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and flexible with the itinerary. The acidic crater lake, tea plantations, strawberry farms, suspension bridge and hot springs were all great and exactly what I wanted to see. We met up with other guides and their guests and from what I can tell any of the guides would be great. However Bamz is Five Stars!!! I would definitely recommend this tour.

The trip was great! The White Crater is a really cool place and visiting the hot springs was like being at a wellness 😁 our guide Ega was a fun and knowledgable guy. I recommend the tour!

We were picked up at the GH universal hotel by our guide Steven, an open and enthusiastic man. He drove very skillfully and safely to the different spots. He didn't rush and gave us all the time we would like, giving us all the options. He would look after our safety and health. We saw all the beautiful spots, had drinks, breakfast and lunch on equally amazing places. The walks weren't tiring, but good shoes are recommended. Also, bring some cash to tip the local services and entrances. All in all a must try experience!

Excellent trip to South Bandung with guide Mr BAMZ and his personal touch in explaining every detail of places visited was commendable and note worthy. The trip was well organised in 8 hours and I look forward to returning to Bandung once again.
