Die Tour führt Sie auf den Mount Victoria, wo ein Stopp von einer Aussichtsplattform Ihnen einen spektakulären Blick auf den Hafen und die Stadt bietet.
Lokal bekannt als The Beehive
Fahren Sie zum Strand von Lyall Bay, passieren Sie den Flughafen Wellington und sehen Sie einen Teil der zerklüfteten Küste. An einem klaren Tag können Sie spektakuläre Ausblicke auf die Südinsel genießen. Wir kommen am Barrett’s Reef vorbei, wo am 10. April 1968 die Roll-on/Roll-off-Fähre Wahine während eines Hurrikans in der Nähe von Seatoun (nicht weit von der Küste entfernt) auf das Riff aufschlug und kenterte, wobei 52 Menschen ums Leben kamen.
die berühmte Wellington-Seilbahn (die erstmals 1902 Passagiere beförderte). Nachdem Sie mit der Seilbahn nach oben gefahren sind und dort das malerische Museum besucht haben, erwartet Sie ein weiterer atemberaubender Panoramablick auf den Hafen und die Stadt.
Dann fahren wir am schönen Botanischen Garten vorbei und durch den Lady Norwood Rose Garden.

What I will remember is the option of going down in the cable car was better than going up when we saw the line down the bottom. We were so disappointed we missed out on going up to Victoria Lookout that would have been a highlight. Apparently there was a car race on that the Bus driver hadn't been informed about. The right tour guide can make or sadden your expreriece we had a great bus driver Peter , I think he should have been our tour guide as well. Overall got to see on this bus trip more than walking as Wellington is a big City

Our tour guide was awesome, took pride in showing us the highlights of Wellington. Gave us plenty of photo opportunities and even a chance to grab some coffee and pastries along the trip

This tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our driver and guide Dennis was passionate about his city and NZ and went over and above to take us to all the Wellington highlights. The tour should only have been 3.5 hours but was actually 5 plus hours as Dennis wanted to ensure we saw all Wellington had to offer.

Enjoyed the tour. Had several stops to get out and take pictures. Bryan was informative. Beautiful city, lived the cable car and views from Mount Victoria. Loved that there was an option to stay in the city, but I decided to go back to the port.
