Wir holen Sie in Ihrem Hotel in Tirana ab und fahren Sie kurz in die malerische Landschaft, um die geschäftige Hauptstadt hinter uns zu lassen. Unser Ziel für heute ist ein charmantes Familienweingut in einem malerischen Dorf vor den Toren der Stadt.
Bei der Ankunft im Weingut werden wir von unserem leidenschaftlichen Gastgeber herzlich empfangen. Diese Region ist bekannt für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft lokaler Winzer, die stolz darauf sind, ihre einzigartigen Weine und Weinherstellungstechniken mit Besuchern zu teilen. Wir besuchen den Weinberg, wo wir etwas über die Geschichte der Weinherstellung in Albanien und die einzigartigen lokalen Rebsorten erfahren, die in der Region gedeihen. Die Kombination aus mediterranem Klima und dem Mikroklima der Region Zentralalbanien schafft ideale Bedingungen für den Weinbau und ist somit ein wirklich privilegierter Standort. Die Region ist für einige der 100 einheimischen Rebsorten bekannt, wie: Vlosh, Kallmet, Shesh, Pula, Mjaltëz und Kryqës. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit, den Weinkeller zu erkunden, in dem die Familie ihre Weine herstellt und reift, bevor es in den Verkostungsraum geht. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, 3 Gläser Weine zu probieren, gepaart mit einer köstlichen Auswahl an lokalen Snacks.
Nach der Weinprobe entspannen Sie sich und genießen einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch die Weinberge oder genießen die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. Später fahren wir wieder bergab nach Tirana, was das Ende eines erstaunlichen Erlebnisses markiert. Ob Sie ein Weinliebhaber sind oder einfach nur einen ruhigen Urlaub suchen, dieses Erlebnis wird Sie in bleibenden Erinnerungen zurücklassen.

Shehi Vila was so beautiful! The owner was so kind and knowledgeable! I would recommend getting a bottle to take home.
What a great day! Beautiful winery on the outskirts of Tirana. I was alone so I got very personalized service, from pick-up and drop-off and everything in between. Great wines and snacks with an incredible view!

We had a private tour to the winery with Altin. Our guide provided us with a lot of information about Albanian history, people and mentality. He was extremely informative. We got to learn a lot. The visit of the winery was also great. The owner shared some insights on the process of making wine, it’s history in Albania. Finally we not only tried the wine, but also Raki, limoncello and a lot more things :))) The owner was very nice to offer us way more than it was announced in the program. And we also were served homemade local food (grilled veggies, cheese, onion pie and olives). Everything was veeeery tasty. We had a very good time ! Thank you.
My daughter and I went on this tour and absolutely loved it! The wine and food were amazing! The winery was so pretty! Our tour guide -Angjelo was fantastic! This was definitely the highlight of our stay in Triana. I would definitely recommend!
Our guide, Altin, was friendly and knowledgeable. The vineyard was quite charming and the wine was excellent (the cheeses were delicious) and the owner was very passionate about his wine and very welcoming. Lovely afternoon not to far from Tirana.
The excursion worked well. I was alone with a nice and talkative guide and the winery was pitoresque. Driving there was ok and the host at the winery was wonderful. Be careful when booking though. Viator displayed the currency in PLN (Poland) instead of ALL (Albania). So the excursion was another price than I thought since I did not notice the wrong currency when booking...
We don’t normally share reviews but we just had to following our experience to the Vila Shehi Winery for a wine tasting tour. Lovely welcome on arrival to the pick-up point by our driver Altin followed by the journey which included lots of information on Albanian sites and the culture. Altin was excellent and spoke good English and really made the trip a special one. We have been on lots of wine tours including Sonoma, Florence and San Diego and have to say this was the best experience we have had. At the winery we got a tour followed by wine tasting outside in the courtyard and got to try a variety of white, rose and red wines plus an orange wine. The wines were excellent so we bought a bottle of the reserve (our favourite), the rose and a bottle of Raki (we got to try 3 types of Raki too). The wines came with an assortment of cheese, bread and carrots (personal favourite) which went very well with the wine and all ingredients were sourced locally. I can’t share how much we enjoyed this tour enough and would recommend to anyone wanting to go on a wine tasting tour in Tirana. I have no doubt that booking through Choose Balkans and having Altin at the winery helped to make the visit extra special. Thank you Altin and Choose Balkans!
This was a fantastic tour with friendly, informative and welcoming guides. We loved the local element of it being a family run vineyard only 30 minutes from Tirana. Would definitely recommend for a fun afternoon out!!
