Im Weingut Koutsogiannopoulos können Gäste ein einzigartiges Erlebnis rund um die Welt des Weins genießen. Die Familie Argyros ist seit 1903 in der Weinproduktion tätig. Es handelt sich um den größten privaten Weinbergbesitzer auf Santorin, dessen derzeitiger Landbesitz mehr als 120 Hektar umfasst – eine gewaltige Investition, die sich über vier Generationen erstreckt. Das Weingut Estate Argyros in Episkopi wurde 2015 gegründet und ist mit einer Fläche von über 3000 m² ein hochmodernes Weingut, das zweifellos zu den beeindruckendsten der Insel zählt.
- Das „Art Space Winery“ auf Santorin, das sich in einer alten Höhle in Exo Gonia befindet, wurde 1999 eröffnet. Hier verschmelzen traditionelle Weinherstellung und Ausstellungen zeitgenössischer Kunst. Das Weingut, das in einem alten Weinkeller aus dem 19. Jahrhundert untergebracht ist, bietet Besuchern ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, bei dem das Weinerbe Santorinis zusammen mit moderner griechischer Kunst präsentiert wird. Die Lage in einer Vulkanhöhle verleiht dieser Verbindung von Wein und Kultur eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre.

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience at all three wineries we visited. George was informative.Each winery had its own unique character, beautiful surroundings, and a great selection of wines. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the stories behind their wines. We enjoyed learning about the winemaking process and tasting a variety of excellent local wines. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend visiting these wineries to anyone who appreciates good wine and hospitality.

Our day began in chaos aboard the Enchanted Princess, where water transfers were necessary. Delays caused us to worry about our meeting time but the tour coordinator took all the pressure off with their guidance and assurance. We had a marvelous tour to three wineries and made it back to the ship on time without feeling rushed at all. Great tour, people and wine. Highly recommend this tour .

So I booked through Viator and it showed it was a 3 hr tour. Well, we only went to 2 wineries and were only allowed to stay for 1 hr. The first one, you have to walk through a museum that took about 25-30 mins. So that winery we only had 30 mins to drink 4 tastings. It seemed rushed. The employees there were great though. The second winery, same thing. You have to learn about how the winery was founded, the history of how wine was made back in the day vs how it is now a days. The employee was also great there. Just seemed rushed and not worth the almost $400 I spent on this excursion (for 2 people). The driver was also nice but when we got in the van he said he’s taking us to 3 wineries but we only went to 2 even though we were on time and back at the time he stated. Essentially this tour ended an hour earlier than expected and I was jipped 1 winery when I was told we would go to 3. Overall, this booking needs to be updated with how many wineries you will be ACTUALLY going to. Instead of leaving it open to 2 or 3. I personally should’ve notice the “OR” wasn’t a guarantee and should’ve booked with someone else. Overall, if you’re looking to enjoy your wine and not slam them like you’re taking shots just to get back on time, I’d recommend a different tour option. One that is clearly laid out with how many wineries and how long you’ll have at each one. There’s better options out there. I’d go to the wineries on my own if you have your own transportation (car, etc)!

We would like to clarify that the tour you booked is advertised as a visit to “2 or 3 wineries,” and the 2-winery option was the one selected during the booking process. Therefore, the itinerary provided was consistent with the reservation made. The museum visits, historical presentations, and educational introductions at each winery are part of the official experience offered by the wineries and are included within the visit duration. In all wineries, visits and tastings are scheduled by the wineries themselves and usually last between 50 minutes to 1 hour. The duration is standard for all visitors, and this is not something controlled or shortened by our company. We also noticed the mention of a “$400 tour.” However, the total amount paid for this experience was approximately €220 for two guests, which is a significant difference and important for future readers to understand accurately. That being said, we understand that you would have preferred more tasting time and a slower pace. We also wish this concern had been mentioned during the tour, as we would have gladly clarified any misunderstanding at that moment and helped avoid any confusion. Depending on availability and timing, it may also have been possible to arrange an additional winery stop at your own expense. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to ensure that all tour details and expectations are communicated as clearly as possible.
This was one of the best tours we have taken in quite a while. Lefteris (forgive spelling errors) was our guide and he was attentive, knowledgeable and a good conversationalist. Would recommend this tour wholeheartedly!!

We visited two different wineries. We were able to sample 8 different local wines and were treated to a few plates of local meats, cheese and breads. The first winery gave us a tour of their facility, how the made wine in the past and the second winery gave us a tour of how they make wine today. We had a driver pick us up in Oia stayed with us through the entire trip and brought us back. Communication with the tour company was excellent.
