Die Familie der Weinbau- und Weinherstellung bietet das einzigartige Erlebnis von hausgemachten Weinen, Spirituosen und Snacks, die auf der Terrasse ihres traditionellen Weinguts, das seit 14 Generationen zur Familie gehört, kosten. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, das Glas Wein in der Wiege des montenegrinischen Weins zu genießen und interessante Geschichten über die lange Geschichte und reiche Tradition dieser Region zu hören. Das Hosting-Weingut befindet sich in der historischen Stätte des Dorfes Godinje im Nationalpark Skadar-See, nur 5 km von Virpazar entfernt. Die Verkostungstour dauert 1,5 Stunden.

Die Verkostungen beginnen um 12.00 Uhr, 14.00 Uhr, 16.00 Uhr und 18.00 Uhr und dauern 1,5 Stunden. Sie umfassen drei Gläser mit verschiedenen Weinen sowie hausgemachte Snacks. Ihr Gastgeber ist der Agronom und Weinproduzent, der fließend Englisch spricht. Das Weingut Garnet befindet sich im historischen Teil des Dorfes Godinje und kann mit dem Auto, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß von der nächsten Stadt Virpazar (5 km entfernt) erreicht werden. Die Hauptstadt von Montenegro, Podgorica, liegt 35 km, Bar 30 km, Petrovac 25 km, Budva 50 km und Kotor i Tivat 70 km entfernt.
Das Weingut Garnet befindet sich im ersten zum montenegrinischen Kulturerbe erklärten Dorf Godinje, in dem sich die Überreste des Sommerhauses der königlichen Familie Balsic aus dem 14. Jahrhundert befinden. Es ist ein einzigartiger Ort mit meist menschenleeren Steinhäusern mit sehr wertvollem kulturellem und historischem Erbe.

The host cared deeply about wine making and carrying on his family's tradition. He served an excellent cheese plate with ham, and an olive spread on home made biscuits. We finished with 4 different liqueurs from rajika. 10/10 would recommend.
It was a very nice experience. The wines were delicious and the snacks too. Our host was very enthusiastic and knew a lot to tell. Highly recommended!
Amazing, rustic and authentic winery. We really enjoyed our time here and the host was so friendly and knowledgeable - he had a real passion for wine and explained everything so clearly. We had an amazing wine tour in Montenegro. Our hosts were so welcoming and knowledgeable about their wines. We loved the great conversations, delicious local snacks, and every wine we tasted was excellent. It was such a nice way to experience the local culture and feel the true heart of Montenegro. Highly recommend!
The journey to the winery is interesting up winding roads but when you get there the welcome from Maya was warm and the evening relaxed. There was a really good offer of snacks to complement the wines and liqueurs we got to try which were excellent, I’d fully recommend this activity.
Lovely wine tasting at a small vineyard. The couple were very knowledgable about how the different wines were made, we found it very interesting. The food was delicious, lots of cheese, ham, dips, chocolate desserts. They were very generous with the wine, 4 wine and 4 fruit liqueurs each person! Fantastic views. All at a very relaxed pace so we could enjoy the wine while eating for a few hours.

We visited Winery Garnet in the middle of a terrible storm. Although this meant we didn't quite get the idyllic setting we were picturing, it did not dampen our experience! Mishko (sorry if I spelt it incorrectly) was a very welcoming and accommodating host - he gave us lots of information about the family wines and let us enjoy at our own pace. We spent a few hours tasting the various wines and spirits, and enjoying the delicious food we were given to share. The amount of food and liquor exceeded our expectations, and we truly had a fantastic afternoon, despite rain gushing everywhere and hammering on the terrace roof! I must mention Maja who I liaised with in detail prior to the tasting - she was extremely friendly and proactive in making arrangements for us, to ensure we could still enjoy our experience despite the storm. A big thank you!
A truly unique experience expertly hosted by the very knowledgeable and passionate owner Misko. We spent a very happy couple of hours sampling delicious wines and liquors accompanied by various cheeses and other homemade snacks. We would thoroughly recommend this great value experience to anyone visiting Montenegro.
Spend a great evening with good food and even better wine. Lovely place away from the hustle and bustle of lake Skandar. Would recommend it to everybody.

Just came back from a wine tasting at Garnet. What a wonderful experience! Misko was very kind and humble about his products, which was some of the best I have ever tried. From my previous wine tasting experience in southern Europe, this is definitely one of the top. I like how all products shows elegance and thoughts behind the production. Everything from the location, to the host to the presentation is really low key. The tasting is in some unpolished environments, which makes it more romantic and also easy to have a nice chat with others. The location is hidden, but google maps will show you the way. Very high recommendations from Copenhagen.
