SCAMMERS!!!! Unless you want to be left behind and never picked up, booked this trip! They will not respond, their phone number does not work and says no longer in service and then they just tell you the morning of the trip that they made an error and they will not pick you up. Completely ruined our day!!
My guide Leon was a happy, informative guide. I enjoyed seeing the process of making incense. The incense photo area is not a farm. It is set up for pictures FYI. The drive is long but it is nice to see a different area of Hanoi. Leon was a great picture taker. My tour dropped us off for train coffee and you get back to your location on your own. The workshop hat is quick, don’t expect perfection!
Solo was easy with Leon! He took all my pictures at the village. Just know the village is pre constructed as a place to take pics. It isn’t a field, rather set up areas you can take various pictures. The process was explained and you can see the incense in various stages. Train street is a drop off on your own. FYI The hat painting wasn’t mentioned for this trip, but we did it. The first
We couldn't go to the incense village, so we made a Full-day tour of hsnoi. So we visited the main points. The guild was very kind and attentive.
Tom was a great tour guide! We were picked up from our location, then he started the tour with fun facts in the van, we went to Train Street and we got to order drinks. He gave us clear instructions for when the train passes through. He happily answered questions about Train Street and Vietnam. Then, we headed to Incense Village. He took a lot of photos of the group members. We also got to observe and make incense firsthand.Super Nice trip & Highly recommended
I was so looking forward to this tour on my first full day in Vietnam. I was to be picked up at 8 so I was out in front of my hotel by 7:45. When no one had arrived by 8:30, I contacted the tour company directly with no response. I repeated attempts at contact at 8:45 and 9:30 before I finally gave up, having sacrificed two hours of my day. I then contacted Viator and did receive a quick refund.
It was a good sightseeing tour to see a lot in one day. However, I booked a small group tour and it seemed quite large in size. Also, we went to see one of the stops and when we came back on the bus it smelled of cigarettes. Overall made the most of the experience and met nice people but the tour was a bit disappointing.
Our full-day tour of Hanoi was an excellent experience, thanks to our knowledgeable and attentive guide. He provided detailed historical insights at every destination and was always patient in repeating or clarifying when needed. His enthusiasm kept the group engaged, especially when we started feeling tired, and he chose a charming local restaurant for a delicious lunch. The highlight for me was visiting the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, made even more impactful by the guide’s thorough explanations. The itinerary was well-packed, with a comfortable bus and a skilled driver ensuring a smooth and safe journey. Overall, it was a well-organized tour that gave us á deeper appreciation of Hanoi’s history and culture
I enjoyed this tour very much and learnt a lot about Vietnamese history and culture. Our guide, Mr Lee, was excellent. He gave us good information and handled a difficult situation with obnoxious guests calmly and professionally. Highly recommended.
The Hanoi City Tour was an unforgettable experience that truly included me to the vibrant culture and history of Vietnam’s capital. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate, making each site come alive with fascinating stories. I loved how the tour efficiently covered all the major attentions, allowing us to enjoy everything without feeling exhausted in the heat. One of the highlights for me was the delicious vegan lunch. The server was so attentive, checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The solemnity of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the serenity of a beautiful Buddhist Pagoda, every moment was special.
