Diese musikalische Wandertour wird von einem 36-jährigen Einheimischen geleitet, der in Austin geboren und aufgewachsen ist und seit über 30 Jahren umfassende Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit der Musikszene von Austin hat. Es gibt viele Geschichten zu erzählen! Kommen Sie mit auf einen musikalischen Spaziergang und lernen Sie Austins musikalische Seite kennen!!

Der Waterloo Music Saunter beginnt in der Nähe des Ladybird Lake an der Stevie Ray Vaughan-Statue. Diese musikalische Wandertour umfasst alle besten und berühmtesten Musikorte in der Innenstadt von Austin, der „Livemusikhauptstadt der Welt“. Musiklokale, Plattenläden, Musikwandgemälde und Statuen sind Teil dieses Spaziergangs durch die Stadt.
Ikonischer Foto-Spot und wunderschöner Abschnitt der Innenstadt von Austin in der Nähe von Guadalupe Street und Willie Nelson Boulevard. Halten Sie an und werfen Sie einen Blick auf das weltberühmte Austin City Limits Theater.
Ein Ort, den man gesehen haben muss, um es zu glauben. Austins ältester Veranstaltungsort für Bluesmusik. Hier wird in einem Plattenladen Halt gemacht und Geschichten über das alte Austin erzählt.
Als nächstes steht ein Spaziergang durch Austins berühmteste Straße, die historische Pecan Street (besser bekannt als 6th Street), auf dem Programm. Die Straße besteht aus vielen Bars, Musiklokalen, Hotels und historischen Gebäuden von Austin. Während dieses Teils des Spaziergangs besteht die Möglichkeit, in eine Bar einzukehren. Je nach Tageszeit und Jahreszeit kann auf diesem Abschnitt der Tour Livemusik zu sehen oder zu hören sein.
An dieser Station der Musiktour zu Fuß sehen Sie Austins ältestes Musikgeschäft und Plattenladen. Abhängig vom Zeitpunkt Ihrer Tour kann es zu einer Performance im Laden/einer Signierstunde kommen oder Sie treffen den Besitzer persönlich, Herrn John Kunz. Dies ist wirklich eines von Austins Juwelen.
Kommen Sie und sehen Sie sich die Fledermäuse an! Je nach Tages- und Jahreszeit halten wir an der Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge und werfen einen Blick auf die Fledermäuse. Hören Sie mit uns ihr Quietschen!

Time well spent with Kyle. Like walking around town with a friend. Got a good idea of the music scene and things to do in the city. A+ experience.
The guide Kyle, gave so much education about the history of Austin and provided pictures from back in time for our group to see how much has changed. I absolutely loved it.
It’s a great tour if you don’t have enough time to discover the city. In 2 hours, you’ll see almost all the must see places.

Kyle was a super nice kid, walked us all around the downtown areas, but did not share any stories or know much about his music history or tell us anything interesting about music or the history about how Austin became the music capitol of the world or anything else. But he was nice and gave us water and took us to a nice bathroom and for that we tipped him.
Hard to compete with Dr. John and Irma Thomas that's for sure! But it was Willie Nelson who taught the weeping willow how to cry, cry, cry... Next time y'all come down to Austin in the middle of the summer lets get you on my hiking and swimming tour, was too darn hot that day..
Waterloo Music Saunter walking tour was interesting & informative. Kyle was an enthusiastic guide sharing many local Austin musicians’ stories & music scene history. We visited the famous Antoni’s music venue & record store as well as other well known music venues.

Kyle was an awesome guide for this 90 minute walking tour around Austin. He had lots of really great knowledge and stories, as well as suggestions for what to do on the rest of my trip; tailored to the type of music I like. Because it's private, you are able to ask lots of questions as well. Would recommend!
Fun, laid back tour with Austin local who was very knowledgeable about the music scene and made lots of recommendations as to where I could see some shows all weekend. We took plenty of stops as needed, there are lots of cute places to pick up snacks/coffee/souvenirs if desired.
