We booked a tour for a team retreat and it was the highlight of our week together. Our guide, Cooper, was knowledgeable, engaging, funny, and warm, and made sure we were always comfortable and having a good time. All of the food was excellent, and Georgetown was a pleasure to stroll through, even in near-90 degree heat. The cost was totally reasonable for the time spent and amount of food (we took an entire bag of leftovers home with us!), and several of our group went back to Georgetown later in the week to try a few places again. I can't recommend this enough, and if you're booking, I would definitely recommend requesting Cooper!

Georgetown food tour with Matt was the perfect mix of amazing eats and fascinating history. Highlights included lamb awarma hummus, classic half smoke, juicy pork soup dumplings, a fresh vegetarian taco and the sweetest cupcake finale. Matt stories brought the neighbor to life -come hungry and leave happy!

This tour is great for locals and tourists alike. I live in the DMV and I loved this secret food tour “in my own backyard.” We visited places I had never been. Noam, our guide, was an engaging and friendly, and he shared tidbits of history and fun facts as we walked. In between each bite, we walked, which was helpful to digest while enjoying sightseeing. The food was excellent and I ended up feeling full by the end of it. 10/10!! As for the Secret Food Tours customer service, they were responsive and professional as they accommodated multiple requests I sent them to change the date of my tour (thank you!). Word of advice: Book directly through the Secret Food Tours website and you’re more likely to get a discount.
