Waschbärinsel-Erkundung auf SUP/Kajak

Beschreibung

Enjoyed every part of this tour from the boat ride out to our kayaks, to getting to kayak through the mangroves, then paddling over to Raccoon Island to feed tons of little trash pandas! They weren’t easy to find at first and we had to walk the island for a bit, but once we did, at least 15-20 of them popped out of the woods to feast on grapes, watermelon, and the surprise hit, cat treats. I literally could have spent the entire day interacting with them.
Awesome experience, wasn’t given the option to paddleboard though despite it being listed as an option.
Absolutely love this tour. Would recommend. Devon and Shawn were amazing.
Sean and Devon were fantastic, Loved Raccoon Island!! Had fun kayaking through the mangroves and to the islands. A few notes for others - Pick up is a little confusing, boat arrives at 9am so won’t see it waiting as a guide. Would recommend jandals, crocs etc not sneakers as don’t wear anything for kayaking only need on the island.
Explored the mangroves, a couple islands, and swam. Great way to spend an afternoon. Devon and Kelsey told us about the natural environment and waterways. The pickup dock is shared so there are no signs, but it is indeed the first floating dock about 200ft left of the marina docks.
Devon and Kelsey were great! We saw many raccoons on the island!
So much fun! We were able to see a manatee, crabs, fish, iguanas, and racoons! The Mangrove forest was beautiful and serene. Kelsey was very knowledgeable about how the ecosystem worked. Devin and Kelsey were amazing guides! Would love to do this with our whole family.
Definitely recommend! Francis and Cody were our guides and they did not disappoint. Raccoon island was SO fun! The raccoons are adorable are will come right up to you. Bring a water bottle for them to drink from and they will love you!
Amazing tour! Loved the mangroves and the mangrove crabs. Raccoons were awesome!! Would recommend 10/10
We had the most amazing trip to raccoon island with Ashley and Angie! They were very knowledgeable and informed guides, pointing out all the exciting wildlife and making sure everyone had a great time. We loved how many different things we got to do on this excursion - we enjoyed time on the boat, kayaking in the mangroves, exploring raccoon island and snorkeling in the shallows. There was something for everyone on this trip! Thank you Ashley and Angie for an unforgettable adventure! A few notes: This was suitable for beginners on a kayak but note that you’re on the ocean and it was somewhat busy (other boats, so waves and wakes) so it could be a bit daunting for a new kayaker. Also, if you book through Viator, make sure you follow the written instructions for finding the meeting point. They took us more directly to the meeting spot than the pin on the map. We called for help and received it immediately, but figured it was worth mentioning. You should expect sign a few waivers before you board the boat as well. Wet bags and phone cases were available for sale but not for rent / for free to use. Everything you don’t want to get wet can be safely left on the main boat while you’re on your excursion, but you won’t have access to it on the island if you do so. Water was provided! I brought my phone tucked into my life vest and had no issues but if you’re less confident you may want to consider bringing a waterproof phone case / lanyard to put around your neck. Recommend you wear sandals because shoes are required on the island and we had to do some walking in shallow water, flip flops were doable but a bit more challenging to navigate with. Ashley and Angie were very supportive and everyone had a great time! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
