Wanderung durch den Mondberg. Es fühlt sich an, als wären wir auf einem anderen Planeten. Die unwirkliche Erfahrung ließ Sie sich mit der saudischen Natur aus einer anderen Perspektive verbinden. Diese Wanderung ist ein Muss für jemanden, der nach quilty Zeit außerhalb der Stadt sucht.

Wir fahren von Jeddah um 9:30 Uhr für eine Stunde nach Norden ins Mondtal auf der Asfan Road in Richtung der Universität von Jeddah, danach erreichen Sie ein Dorf, von wo aus Ihr Wanderziel nur 25 Minuten entfernt ist. Um das Tal zu erreichen, benötigen Sie ein 4x4-Fahrzeug, da das Gelände im Allgemeinen sandig und felsig ist.
Moon Valley liegt etwa 120 Kilometer von der Stadt Jeddah entfernt. Es hat die besten Aussichten auf die Wüste und Felsformationen zum Wandern, die Bildern der Mondoberfläche ähneln. Die Atmosphäre im Tal eignet sich für eine Meditationssitzung und verbindet sich besser mit der Natur (Matte mitbringen). Wir werden uns auf den Rückweg in die Stadt machen, nachdem wir unsere letzte Pause im Tal eingelegt haben (Getränke und Snacks werden gestellt). Die Reisezeit zurück nach Jeddah, Saudi-Arabien, beträgt 1 Stunde.

The moon valley has some spectacular views and the hike up the mountain was fun. Good communication and the guide was in time and everything went as planned even though the booking was the day before.
we went with Jeddah Go Outdoors : pick up on time at hotel, excellent guide Maher : speaks fluent English, very friendly, tells about his country, showed the way on the rock views were amazing, no other people (weekday) 100% recommanded
Great little excursion to get out of the city for a bit and see the natural landscapes and interesting rock formations. Short scramble up and down but very happy to have had the opportunity to do it. Mohammed was very kind and everything was done at my pace and helped take a bunch of fun photos for me.
I had a great time on this hike. The sunset view from the top was incredible. Everything was so quiet and peaceful. Abdallah really looked after me. He made sure I was ok up and down the mountain, took lots of pictures and made me tea at the end of the hike. And by that time it was dark so we drank our tea under the stars. The communication I received from Abha Trips before the hike was excellent. They kept me informed about the pickup and guide details.
Excellent experience and very enjoyable picked up from hotel at 5am for sunrise trip. Walk was generally straightforward in trainers though a bit of a scramble at top,ably helped by guide Maher who was really helpful. Lovely sunrise and no one else but us were there

Moon Mountain was really amazing, such a unique place to visit while in Jeddah. It’s an easy afternoon adventure with an incredible sunset from the top. I would call it a bit of a scramble rather than a hike, as climbing through and over the rocks. Our guide Adel was great, he was funny, easy to talk to and made the experience more fun.

Be prepared and dress special hiking shoes. This hiking requires basic athletic training because there are places where it is quite difficult to climb up 🔥
Amazing sunset climb of the mountain. You need reasonable fitness and not afraid of heights. Rock climbing gloves are not necessary but would help. Finished with traditional tea.
I had a fantastic experience! Abdullah was kind and I felt very safe the whole time! A bit of a climb, but so worth it. I did this as a layover tour while in Jeddah and it was a smooth transfer experience. As a solo female traveler, sometimes finding a good tour is tricky, but this was an incredible experience. I cannot recommend more!
