Nach 2 Stunden dieser Wanderung erhalten Sie Wissen über die Stadt Bergen vom frühen Mittelalter bis in unsere Tage. Bergen hat den Spitznamen "Hauptstadt der Fjorde" und "Zentrum des mittelalterlichen Handels". Alte Viertel Bryggens bewahrten den Geist der mittelalterlichen Handelsstadt, die vor vielen Jahrhunderten zur geschäftigsten Handelskreuzung Skandinaviens wurde. Viele berühmte Norweger wurden hier geboren. Sie besuchen die Festung Bergenhus und die Haakon-Halle, die vor Hunderten von Jahren zum Zentrum der königlichen Macht in Norwegen wurde. Keine Eingänge, Sie werden sie vom Festungshof aus sehen. Sie werden in die reale Atmosphäre der Vergangenheit eintauchen und erhalten auch Informationen über das Leben in dieser Stadt heute. Einer der ältesten Fischmärkte in Norwegen, auf dem Sie Gerichte sehen, probieren und essen können, die fast aus allen Arten von Fisch gekocht wurden, die in den norwegischen Fjorden gefangen werden können.
Eine Ansammlung von Kaufmannshäusern, die im Mittelalter der deutschen Hanse gehörten. Einzigartige Kostüme in einem speziellen architektonischen System, das mehr als 400 Jahre von der Hanse genutzt wurde. Dieses Gebiet wurde 1979 in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen.
Die älteste Steinkirche Bergens, die zwischen 1130 und 1180 errichtet wurde. Die Kirche ist auch unter dem Namen Deutsche Kirche bekannt, weil viele Jahrhunderte von der Hansegesellschaft in Bergen genutzt wurde. Bis zum Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden dort alle Gottesdienste in deutscher Sprache abgehalten. Der Besuch in der Kirche ist nicht im Tourprogramm enthalten. Sie erkunden die Kirche von außerhalb
Mittelalterliche Festung, die seit etwa 1100 Jahren Sitz norwegischer Könige war. Die älteste steinerne königliche Residenz Haakon Hall und der Wehrturm Rosenkrantz wurden Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Von den Festungsbastionen aus können Sie den Blick auf den Stadtfjord und das Land der Inseln entlang der Küste genießen.
Dieser mittelalterliche Wehrturm ist von allen Teilen der alten Bergen zu sehen. Der Turm ist Museum mit dem Aussichtspunkt in der höchsten Etage des Gebäudes. Wir werden es von außen untersuchen. Es dauert etwa 10 Minuten.
Die Haakon-Halle, die 1261 errichtet wurde, wird noch genutzt. Dies ist der beste Ort, um ausländische Delegationen zu treffen. Mittelalterlicher Geist dieses Palastes ist ein echtes Zeichen der Geschichte Bergens. Um die Halle zu betreten, benötigen Sie Tickets. Während unseres Rundgangs werden wir die Haakon Halle von außen betrachten. 10 - 15 min
Dies ist der wichtigste Fußgängerplatz der Stadt und ein sehr beliebter Treffpunkt für die Bürger von Bergen.

Very comprehensive walking tour of Bergen. The guide has an extensive knowledge of the local sites and history and proceeded at a reasonable pace, permitting time for photos and questions. Bergen weather is usually wet, so be prepared.

This walking tour we ordered from Vinol Tours. One day before we had a great hike with Olav - mountain guide from the same company. Conversations with Olav during 5 hours of our hike were so interesting that we decided to order him again for historical tour next day. And the highest scores for Olav and Vinol Tours again! Bergen became the the center of medieval trade in Scandinavia many centuries ago. We have visited Bryggen - trading office that belonged to Trading Hanseatic League from the XIV-th century up to the middle of XIX th century. This is UNESCO site. Bergenhus Fortress we have visited also. Very impressive strong point that existing in the city from XII century. We ended tour at the fish market where we have enjoyed a good lunch after the tour.

mA very good tour agency. They helped me with a booking error and ensured that a tour guide was available for my corrected booking in a rather short time. Kudos to Ule and team. My guide for this tour was Alex. He has been in the country for a while and was knowledgeable about the Norwegian way of life. The tour started off from the Tourist Info centre at the Fish Market. We went up the furnicular (extra NOK95) and took in the city view from the top. Thereafter, we went to Bryggen, the church behind it and then to the city centre. There was a Christmas market at the centre and we took in the sights. Alex was very open and answered any questions I had about Bergen, Norway and Scandinavia. He even helped me take my tram tickets and offered to send me links to the Norwegian tales about trolls.This tour was well worth the time and money.

This tour was very informative. We have visited all main attractions in the city center. The most interesting place for me and my wife is Bergenhus Fortress. In 11th century when Bergen became the capital of Norway local kings decided to build their main residence on the shore of Bergen Fjord. More then 200 years The Fortress with Haakon Hall was the main place for the kings. Thanks for people that booked the same tour previously.
