Reiseverlauf

A great half day out of the city and a different perspective of Hong Kong!! Rory was a wonderful guide easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. I would really recommend for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and see more of what Hong Kong has to offer.
Thanks ever so much Samantha! It was a huge pleasure to lead your tour and share the experience with you :)
This was an awesome hike. The dragon back trail was just right for what we needed and the scenic views were well worth the climb to the peak. Our tour guide was very helpful in helping us make it to the beach at the end of the hike safely.
Thanks Daniel, was such a pleasure to lead you :) All the best for the future!
Rory was our guide and he talked the whole time. We learned so much about the hike and about Hong Kong from him. He was the best.
Was such a pleasure to spend the day with you Phil! All the best for the future mate :)
We hiked Dragon's Back on the east coast of Hong Kong Island with our guide Rory. It was medium challenging, but the views from the top were totally worth it. And because it was early February, it wasn't too hot. We ended at Big Wave Bay beach and enjoyed a well-deserved local beer called Dragon's Back, naturally. Rory was an excellent guide and was full of information about Hong Kong and its geography. We would definitely seek to do another hike with him.
Such a pleasure to meet you Ann and share a wonderful day out together :) All the best for future adventures!
Amazing views, friendly and very knowledgeable tour guide. I would recommend doing this hike on a sunny day with clear skies for the best experience.
Thanks ever so much for joining us on the tour Emily! Was a pleasure to meet you :)
A scenic guided walk that explores the south-eastern part of Hong Kong Island. It traverses the Dragon's Back Ridge and descends to the beautiful Big Wave Beach. The guide Tristan was great, very informative about HK and made the walk interesting and all the more enjoyable. I strongly reommend the guided walk by Wild HK
Thanks ever so much for your kind words and joining our tour! So thrilled you had a great time :)
We hiked the Dragon’s Back while in Hong Kong. It was not far from the hotel where we stayed on Hong Kong Island. It was an easy drop from the hotel and was about 20 minutes away. We were dropped at the trailhead. The trail was well marked, and well maintained. The trail was easy to follow. There were a lot of people on the trail, but not so many it was difficult to navigate. The views from the Dragon’s Back were spectacular. It was worth the trip. We went in October and it was very hot and humid. I would recommend that in addition to water, you have other ways to cool down if this king of weather is bothersome to you (e.g., fans and icy towlette). We did encounter a little difficulty getting a ride back and wished we understood more about the bus system as there were many buses, but no taxis that were no already full of people. Fortunately, after a short time, there were other people being dropped off, and we were lucky to take this ride back to the hotel.
This sounds like a review for the Dragons Back in general with you doing it yourself rather than someone who has participated in one of our tours…. but glad you had a good time and managed to figure out your transportation without a guide nonetheless.
Lovely hike! Rory was highly informative about the area. Definitely worth doing with amazing views 1and a lovely beach cafe
Was a Pleasure to meet you Rachel! Hope you both have an amazing visit to Hong Kong :)
For a beginner hike, the distance is perfect-not to long and no to short. And the scenery is breathtaking. There are many streams and jungles. We can walk in the hill and also sit on the beach.
Thank you so much for joining us and an amazing time together! Safe travels :)
Amazing Tour Guide. He taught us a lot of history and explained life in Hong Kong from the perspective of a local with an immigration background. He kept us safe during the entire hike! Would do it again anytime!
Thanks so much for booking with us, Alex had an amazing experience with you. All the best for the future Alex and Rory
