Walking Street Food-Tour in Kathmandu

Just finished the walking tour with Kabita. Loved it. Kabita was an excellent guide. It was a well run program. It was great to work through the busy streets of Kathmandu beyond the familiar Thamel circuit.lots of great food stops along the way.

Great way to start a trip to Nepal. Deepak was my guide and his knowledge of local places to eat and drink was excellent. I never would of found them alone. Would highly recommend. Bring a appetite and there is a toilet break towards the end.!

Just completed a wonderful food experience and tour with Deepak. He took me to some ‘hidden gems’ you would not find on your own, with fabulous tasting Nepalese foods topping it off with a delicious dairy drink at the end. As well, Deepak communicated interesting sightseeing facts along the way. I can thoroughly recommend this experience, great way to spend the time. Thank you Deepak.

I had a great time with Deepak! He introduced me to many different delicious foods and shared his knowledge about Nepal history and culture with me. He took me to small vendors in little passageways and courtyards that I wouldn't have found on my own. Deepak went above and beyond and took to me many different sites and stops along the way, and he even brought me a specific food I told him I wanted to try. It was great fun, I highly recommend.

Great walking tour with 100% authentic Nepalese food. Explore the back alley places serving great local food. We had a great guide that showed us the shopping districts and temples. A must do when in Kathmandu.

We booked an evening stroll and dinner with Yakthung Tours. However due to the time requested which was very late at night, the markets were mostly closed. Our guide, Deepak, communicated to us before the tour. We strolled through Asan Bazaar and perused through the shops and veggies in some of the central squares. He took us out to a traditional Thakali cuisine which was absolutely delicious. We tried dal bhat composed of rice, curry, and my choice of meat was mutton. This was a great intro for a short stay in Kathmandu on our first night. Highly recommend!

This was a well priced tour and included ample food to taste . Our guide Kabita was lovely , she explained all about the food we tasted, kept us safe through traffic and pointed out places of interest for us to return to. She was kind and friendly and we so enjoyed spending time with her and enjoying some traditional Nepalese food. We would highly recommend this tour.

Anoj took me to several places that served popular Nepali specialties. He’s a former chef, and made excellent choices. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the walking tour, and his company.

We had a wonderful food tour in Kathmandu with Kabita. Kabita took perfect care of us and made the trip a real highlight for us. The food is awesome, the restaurants away from the hustle and bustle and real gems. We have been in Nepal for 6 weeks now and have learned a lot of new things and have not yet known any of the dishes Kabita showed us. After we mentioned that we were interested in a traditional sari, she supported us as a shopping aid and to our great delight we even found it. She also warmly supported us in buying spices. Great recommendation and thank you Kabita for this wonderful afternoon!
