Aaron was a wonderful guide -- very fun to talk with, and he offered lots of interesting information about indigenous medicines and cultural practices. The local fruit tasting and the "Vic Vapor Rub" ants (optional to try) were highlights! A great outing!
...and did you try?? Good on you guys for taking the tour and learning what we have to share. Thank you for sharing your review
Amazingly instructive and interactive experience. Excellent view into native coastal life. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Be prepared for wet feet and have bug spray.
Thank you for sharing your review, have a great rest of your time in North Queensland
We took two families (kids 7 to 18yo) on the private half day tour around Mossman. Chase our tour guide had us enjoying amazing home cooked damper whilst teaching us about the local indigenous culture and country. She was extremely knowledgeable and had us learning and laughing our way through spear throwing, bush medicine and the Daintree rainforest. Amazing experience and would highly recommend it.
Sounds like you guys embraced what we have to share, thanks for touring and sharing your review… fun for all ages hey! …and everyone walks away having learnt something.
Aaron was amazing!! He had so much knowledge and tailored our experience to our interests. We wanted him to come with us for the rest of the trip!!
haha how cool! I'll be sure to pass this on to Aaron.
Amazing and local experience with lessons about traditions and aboriginal history. The Family was super super nice and welcoming!
Appreciate the review, thank you for valuing what we share on tour.
Garenba was an excellent guide, as we learned about his culture, hiked the forest and hunted crabs with our spears. He and his family made us feel at home as they cooked up our catch, which we ate on the shore of a beautiful stream in the rain forest. This was a great adventure that we’ll always remember!
How nice it is to hear from you and to hear you enjoyed the tour so much, thank you
Have done a lot of great tours on this trip but nothing like this. Truly memorable experience. Our guide, Chase, clearly wanted to make it so and that shone through in everything she did on the day. Very engaging and informative. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Thank you for recognising Chaseley, she is enjoying guiding and the opportunity to share her culture and country with others.
Fantastic experience . Really nice guide, knowledgable and engaging. Good balance of activities. Good organisation and flexed to our schedule.
Thank you guys, appreciate you sharing a review
Juan was an excellent guide as to local aboriginal traditions, culture, and relationship with nature. The hunt for crabs at low tide and in the mangrove forest was a highlight. The traditional food was delicious as well. The swim in the creek in the rainforest was a perfect end to the day.
Thank you guys, we also enjoyed getting out on tour with you guys, you were so engaged with what we had to share. Taking the walk for the mud crabs is usually something not many people have experienced before.
Enjoyed the wealth of knowledge that Chase shared with us. Spent time on the coast, in Daintree Forest and at her grandfather home where there were a lot of indigenous artifacts.
Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the tour with Chaseley, and learnt about the Kuku Yalanji peoples connection to the land, and how we try to manage and keep our culture alive.
