Eine ganztägige Tour, die die Flora, Fauna und die natürlichen Wunder DE des Vulkans Rincón de la Vieja erkundet. Der Tag besteht aus einer moderaten 2-stündigen Wanderung, bei der Sie Wildtiere und vulkanische Aktivitäten sehen werden. Anschließend besuchen wir den Oropendola Wasserfall, wo Sie schwimmen und im Wasser spielen können. Nach dem Wasserfall ist es Zeit, ein typisches costa-ricanisches Mittagessen nach einem Ausflug zu essen, um an den heißen Quellen zu entspannen und ein vulkanisches Schlammbad zu genießen.

Nationalparkwanderung Mit unserem zweisprachigen Naturführer wandern Sie 3,5 km auf dem Rundweg von Las Pailas durch den Tropenwald, um die besten Aussichten auf den Vulkan, die unglaubliche Natur, die vulkanische Aktivität und die Tierwelt zu genießen. Der Park beherbergt mehr als 300 Vogelarten und viele andere Tiere wie Gürteltiere, Buchten, Leguane, Nasenbären und Affen mit weißem Gesicht, Brüllaffen, Klammeraffen, Tukane, Truthähne und vieles mehr. Sie werden anhalten, um die vulkanische Aktivität zu beobachten, einschließlich sprudelnder Schlammtöpfe, Fumarolen und eines Minikraters. Der Sektor Las Pailas zeigt auf spektakuläre Weise die Kraft des Vulkans Rincon de la Vieja, des aktivsten und größten Vulkans in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Dampf und Schwefel stammen aus natürlichen Fumarolen des gelben und rostigen Bodens. Erleben Sie Toneimer in verschiedenen Brauntönen mit kochendem Vulkanwasser, feinen grauen Vulkanschlammblasen und Explosionen in großen Eimern. Dieser Vulkan ist wie kein anderer in Costa Rica.
Machen Sie nach der Wanderung einen kurzen Spaziergang abseits der Touristenpfade zum Oropendola-Wasserfall außerhalb des Parks, wo Sie in die blaue Lagune springen und dort schwimmen können.
Heiße Quellen und vulkanisches Schlammbad Nach dem Mittagessen fahren Sie zu den heißen Quellen. Die heißen Quellen des Río Negro (Schwarzer Fluss) sind von tropischen Trockenwäldern umgeben und verfügen über zehn Pools mit Thermalwasser, das vom Vulkan Rincón de la Vieja auf natürliche Weise erwärmt wird. Das beruhigende Mineralwasser ist kristallklar und ganz natürlich. Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie es, in unserem Heilwasser zu schwelgen. Sie können auch unser vulkanisches Schlammbad ausprobieren, in dem Sie vulkanischen Tonschlamm auf Ihrem Körper glätten!

I was traveling by myself and felt completely safe and well taken care of from start to finish. The pickup process was easy and on time. I really loved that the group was small because it gave everyone a chance to chat and get to know each other. Our tour guide, Kevin Piña, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions. Our driver, Felipe, was also very kind and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The locations we visited were absolutely perfect. Nothing felt overcrowded or overly touristy, and one of the highlights was getting to swim at a waterfall completely to ourselves! I look forward to touring with them again in the future. Highly recommend!
Bring a towel and mosquito repellent (important!!). The dinner is very good and complete, but rather late, so have lunch beforehand or bring snacks :) The hike is very easy, we ascend little, and there are plenty of interesting viewpoints! Otherwise, the guide and the driver are very nice!
Great time! We had a group of 10 including three young kids. The hike was fun, but a challenge with the kids. The waterfall and hot springs were awesome experiences. We would do it again!
10/10 ! This tour has it all! We hiked through the volcano and saw spider monkeys and a viper. The waterfall was so beautiful and refreshing and the hot springs were relaxing. Daffney our guide was so smart and thorough. This is a great family tour.
I personally had a good time but be warned this is a strenuous hike in the hot sun. We had some setbacks because of this but I enjoyed the views and cooling off in the waterfall. The food was delicious too.

We absolutely loved everything about this tour. Our guide Adberto and driver Raphael were awesome. Adberto is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of Costa Rica as well as the history and people of the Guanacaste region. We stopped at a local cafe for breakfast and to exchange passengers from other pick up points. The food was very good and was a nice local eatery. The hike thru the national park was great. The waterfall was beautiful and very refreshing. The hot spring and mud bath was rejuvenating. We were served Lunch which was delicious. Highly recommend this experience, first class!

Knowledgeable guides. Great places. Waterfall was the best. Hat springs were awesome. The hiike through the volcano park and viewing the steam pools was cool. I believe everybody should do it at least once.

We are glad we took the excursion but here are a few things to consider. The volcano hike was very long. Be prepared for about 3-4 miles. More than we wanted to walk. The visit to the hot springs was not long enough. We needed more time after all the walking. There were towels provided there and that was nice. The waterfall was much smaller than we anticipated and has very steep set of stairs with a small platform. Our tour guide Alejandro was very nice and made the experience fun. The vans were comfortable and drivers that picked us up were pleasant. We are glad we did the excursion as it will probably be a once in a lifetime trip to this beautiful country.
