Der Namsan Seoul Tower wurde 1969 als Koreas erster integrierter Sendemast gebaut, der Fernseh- und Radiosendungen in der gesamten Hauptstadt übertrug. Seit seiner Eröffnung im Jahr 1980 hat es sich zu einem beliebten Wahrzeichen Seouls entwickelt. Zu den Hauptattraktionen des Turms gehören mehrfarbige digitale Kunst, die nachts auf den Turm projiziert wird, ein digitales Observatorium, eine Dachterrasse und mehrere Restaurants. Die Bergumgebung des Namsan Seoul Tower auf dem Namsan Mountain hat ihn zu einem beliebten Ort gemacht, um sich bei Einheimischen und Touristen gleichermaßen zu entspannen.
