Wir lassen das fruchtbare Lerma-Tal hinter uns, steigen die Quebrada de Escoipe hinauf und wandern weiter entlang der imposanten Cuesta del Obispo und Valle Encantado, umgeben von Bergen. Nach dem Besuch von La Piedra del Molino (3.400 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel) durchqueren Sie den Nationalpark Los Cardones. Die kleine und magische Stadt Cachi, am Fuße des gleichnamigen schneebedeckten Berges (6.320 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel) gelegen, zeichnet sich durch ihre Fassaden im Kolonialstil aus, mit Villen am Rande enger Kopfsteinpflasterstraßen . Wir besuchen das Lerma-Tal, El Carril, El Maray, das Calchaquí-Tal, Quebrada de Escoipe, Cuesta del Obispo, Valle Encantado, La Piedra del Molino (3348 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel) und Recta del Tin Tin (11 Kilometer lange Straße, die von der Inkas), Nationalpark Los Cardones (einziger Hochgebirgsnationalpark in Argentinien), Sichtung der Nevados de Cachi (6.380 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel) und 2 freie Stunden in der Stadt Cachi.

Wir verlassen Salta durch das Lerma-Tal in Richtung Süden der Provinz, bis wir die Stadt El Carril erreichen, um nach Westen abzubiegen und uns auf den Weg zur Quebrada del Escoipe und den ersten Traumlandschaften zu machen. Wir haben unterwegs technische Stopps, damit die Passagiere auf die Toilette gehen oder einen Snack kaufen können.

Besuchen Sie Lebensmittelhändler und fahren Sie durch die Stadt, wo am Straßenrand Paprika getrocknet wird.
Wir kommen mittags in der Kolonialstadt Cachi an und haben zwei Stunden Zeit, um zu Mittag zu essen und diese einzigartige Stadt im Norden Argentiniens zu besichtigen. Die gepflasterten Straßen mit ihren Häusern aus Lehmziegeln und Kopfsteinpflaster ermöglichen es Ihnen, Zeuge eines Ortes zu werden, der in der Zeit zurückgeblieben ist und sein ursprüngliches Wesen bewahrt hat. In diesen 2 kostenlosen Stunden können Sie die 10 Häuserblöcke, die die Stadt zu bieten hat, besichtigen und die in der Region heimische gastronomische Vielfalt probieren. Dann treffen wir uns erneut mit dem Reiseleiter, um die Rückfahrt nach Salta zu beginnen.
Bevor wir in der Stadt Salta ankommen, machen wir einen technischen Stopp in Chicoana oder El Carril, um einen Snack zu kaufen oder auf die Toilette zu gehen.

The places are great, but the experience we had regarding the pickup and return is that they left us on the highway, even though there was a road parallel to the hotel, keep in mind that I have two children. On the other hand, the driver was going at a fast speed so you couldn't appreciate the tour with the scenery. Being on vacation I think you want to be more unstructured with the schedules, these were strict and on top of that we returned an hour and a half earlier than stipulated. The state of being on vacation is to relax and not to have more stress. Both issues hindered the full enjoyment of the excursion.

A very nice experience, with many stops, tastings of typical cheeses and cold cuts, and I recommend Fabio as a guide; he is the best!!!!!

They sold a ride to 05/12/25 without a vacancy. I was charged twice and the values were not returned. A lot of difficulty and push game. But they don't solve.
Excellent trip: the stops are memorable and the Bishop’s hill is a very feat road (pity there was mist in the first leg) but this gave us a unique panorama; the cardon park was a sight and I fell in love with Cachi where I will surely return.

Too bad we only made 4 photo stops in these dream settings... far too few! I had to take pictures of the Van. 2 toilet stops one meal stop and one hour in Cachi. Correct guide but unseemly and warm. Eban our driver really drove very well for our safety on roads or roads high and very winding mountain.

Had the good fortune of getting Vanessa as a tour guide and her driver (whose name I forgot, sorry! But he was wonderful!) She was really knowledgeable and personable, it elevated the day. And of course, the scenery was delightful; we also stopped at a roadside stand for a quick bit in case you wanted to buy local spices.

Beautiful trip. Incredible landscape. The impressive cacti (Cardones). The driver and guide (Mr. Antonio) made us spend a humorous day to which the beauty of the landscape was added. Caqui Town: picturesque and with friendly and very good people! I recommend.

I had the opportunity to tour the beautiful city of Cachi with La Quebrada Turismo and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The trip was comfortable, safe and very well organized. The scenery throughout the tour is simply spectacular: the Calchaquíes Valleys, Cuesta del Obispo, Los Cardones National Park... a dream! The guide was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the history, culture and nature of the area. You could see his passion for Salta and that made the whole group even more enjoyable. In Cachi we had time to tour, take pictures and have lunch typical Salta food. I recommend this tour 100% for those who want to know one of the most beautiful villages in northern Argentina, hand in hand with a responsible, punctual company committed to quality tourism.
