Ashraf was our guide today and really helpful, value for money trip.
Our guide and driver Asan and Mohammad were both lovely. Great communication beforehand and while on the trip. About the chip itself, is it a long drive and a long day, absolutely. But it was one of my favourite things we did when we were there. It’s so much quieter and cooler City than Marrakesh so if you do wanna escape, they’re busy and hot City it is a really good idea.
My full-day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my visit to Morocco. The journey itself was scenic, offering beautiful views of the countryside before arriving at the charming Atlantic coastal city. Essaouira is a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. I loved wandering through the UNESCO-listed Medina, exploring its narrow streets filled with local artisans, colorful shops, and traditional handicrafts. The historic ramparts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean provided breathtaking views and were a wonderful place to appreciate the city’s rich heritage. The vibrant fishing harbor, fresh seafood, and relaxed atmosphere gave Essaouira its own unique character, making it a refreshing escape from the lively streets of Marrakech. Every corner of the city reflected authentic Moroccan charm and hospitality. The tour was exceptionally well organized, and our guide was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout the day. I highly recommend a day trip to Essaouira for anyone visiting Marrakech. It is the perfect combination of history, culture, stunning coastal scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes for an unforgettable Moroccan experience.
