Von Berat aus den Bogova-Wasserfall und die Osumi-Schlucht erkunden

We had an amazing day at the Bogova Waterfall and Osumi Canyon and it is all because of our guide Pirens. He put together a very special day for us that we will not soon forget. Pirens showed us a part of Albania that he loves and now we do to. First you take a short hike to the waterfall. Once there you can swim as long as you want. Pirens does not rush you! After we stopped for a delicious meal then off to the canyon for an experience of swimming through the canyon that I will never forget. Pirens will then bring you to a wonderful family owned restaurant for a meal that he has selected that represents the delicious food of Albania. This is one of the best excursions I have done not only because of where we went but because Pirens is a wonderful person and so fun to spend the day with. I highly recommend this tour with Pirens!

A private tour is the best way to see the waterfall and canyon, especially in peak season. Pirens (our guide) has incredible knowledge of the area, ensuring that the drive there and back was very interesting and that we somehow missed the crowds from the big tour operators. He is very attentive to everyone’s needs, kept the kids (aged 7 & 9) entertained and took us to some great local spots for snacks and lunch. This was a truly authentic and unforgettable experience, and highly recommended!

We had a really nice and fun trip. Host is full of energy and talks with passion during the tour. The waterfall was nice (and cold). He made us nice pictures and showed us around. It was relaxed. Afterwards we drank some tea and coffee, had some fruits and drove to the canyon. It was beautiful and really fun. He told us about the canyon and made exploring fun. He also made nice pictures and took all the time we needed. The lunch was also nice before we went back to Berat. Highly recommend!

If you are planning to visit the Bogove Waterfall and the Osumi Canyon, you absolutely have to go with Pirens. He is a fantastic guide! He is incredibly funny and constantly makes sure that everything is going perfectly. I had a wonderful day together, made a nice little stop, and had lunch at a truly good restaurant. On top of that, he takes a lot of great photos, which is awesome for keeping good memories. The day went by so fast, I didn't even see the time pass. Honestly, it felt more like spending the day with a friend than with a tour guide, and that makes all the difference. It was a perfect, seamless day from start to finish. I highly recommend him!
