Das Originalbild der Jungfrau von Guadalupe befindet sich in der Neuen Basilikale und wird von Millionen Gläubigen verehrt. Sie werden Ihre Gebete vor der Jungfrau von Guadalupe verrichten und die Segnungen mit Weihwasser empfangen. Sie können religiöse Artikel innerhalb der Basílica kaufen. Wir kehren mit dem Metrobus zum Treffpunkt zurück.

Treffpunkt ist neben der großen Statue von Papst Johannes Paul II. Wir besuchen den gesamten religiösen Komplex: Die neue Basilika (wo befindet sich das ursprüngliche und wundersame Tilma aus dem Jahr 1531), die Alte und Erste Basílica, Das Heilige Gebiet, in dem die Jungfrau von Guadalupe dem Heiligen Juan Diego im Jahr 1531 erschien und wo sich die erste Kapelle befindet, die Guadalupe erbat zu bauen. Wir werden den Hügel von Tepeyac (mit kleinen Wasserfällen und Gärten) hinaufgehen. Auf der Spitze Wir besuchen die Kapelle der Blumen und Sie haben einen schönen Blick auf Mexiko-Stadt. The Basilica is a very large complex. We were so grateful to our guide Martin. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religious heritage and genuine in effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. We very much enjoyed our tour and he even helped translate our needs for shopping in the store and helped capture our experience with photos! It was fantastic!!

Lots of walking and worth it. There is more to see than meets the eye. Definitely recommend having a tour guide. Ours was wonderful! His name was Gabriel.

This company canceled my tour about 18 hours before it was scheduled to start and gave no specific reason. I had stayed an extra day on this trip to enjoy the tour having changed a plane reservation and added another night to my hotel stay.

Was a little apprehensive about the meeting point details of this tour as there are conflicting information. On several emails it specifically identified the an entrance just outside the Basilica (the one I used as the destination to our Uber ride) however there was also a mention of the Statue of Pope John-Paul II. Had to confirm via telephone that it was indeed in front of the statue. Our guide Diego was quite competent and was knowledgeable about the whole place. Since it was a Sunday he had to rearrange his normal routine to accommodate the thick crowds which worked out well.
