Diese 1-tägige Tour durch das Heilige Tal (VIP) ermöglicht es Ihnen, die besten und umfassendsten Highlights des Heiligen Tals zu genießen, wie die archäologischen Stätten von Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chincheros, einige Andenmärkte zum Einkaufen + Moray, die Inka-Terrassen und die Salzminen von Maras. Das Tal zwischen Pisac und Ollantaytambo ist als das Heilige Tal der Inkas bekannt. Auf dieser Tour fahren wir durch die Berge des Heiligen Tals, das eine Schlüsselrolle in der Kultur und Geschichte der Inkas spielte. Das Tal hat ein gemäßigteres Klima und liegt auf einer niedrigeren Höhe als Cusco. Sie sehen eine Reihe malerischer Städte, alte Inka-Terrassen und die wichtigsten archäologischen Stätten.

Diese Stadt liegt 28 km von Cusco entfernt an der asphaltierten Straße in Richtung Urubamba. Hier liegen die Überreste des einstigen königlichen Anwesens von Túpac Inca Yupanqui, eines wunderschönen Kolonialtempels, der auf Inka-Fundamenten errichtet wurde. Die größte Attraktion ist jedoch der Kunsthandwerkermarkt, der ursprünglich dem Tausch von landwirtschaftlichen Produkten zwischen den Bewohnern des Tals und denen des Hochlands gewidmet war. Der Markt ist heute ein wahres Spektakel aus Farben und Bewegung, das die Besucher mit seinem Angebot an Kunsthandwerk und Textilien im reinsten präkolumbianischen Stil fasziniert.
Es liegt 7 km von Maras und 1 Stunde von der Stadt Cusco über die Chinchero-Route entfernt. Es ist einer der spektakulärsten Besuche, bei dem man kreisförmige Plattformen unterschiedlicher Größe sehen kann. Hierbei handelte es sich um landwirtschaftliche Versuchsterrassen, die auch als Orte der Konzentration weiblicher Energie gelten und daher als magnetisches Zentrum von Pachamama anerkannt werden.
Sie liegen nordwestlich der Stadt Maras, werden von manchen als „Salzminen“ bezeichnet und bestehen aus etwa 3.000 kleinen Gruben. Salz wird seit vorhispanischer Zeit durch ein System der Sonnentrocknung von Salzwasser gewonnen, das aus einem unterirdischen Bach stammt. Sobald das Wasser verdunstet ist, kann das Salz verkauft werden.
Typisches Inka-Dorf, 21 km von Urubamba entfernt (2800 m über dem Meeresspiegel). Es wurde zu Ehren von Häuptling Ollanta benannt, der für seine Liebesgeschichte mit einer Inka-Prinzessin, der Tochter von Pachacuti, berühmt war. Eines der am besten erhaltenen Gebiete erstreckt sich nördlich des Hanan Huacaypata-Platzes und umfasst insgesamt 15 Häuserblöcke, die auf Mauern aus behauenem Stein errichtet wurden. In der weitläufigen archäologischen Stätte, die sich auf dem Hügel mit Blick auf die Stadt befindet, stechen Gebäude wie der Sonnentempel, das Intihuatana und die Prinzessinnenbäder hervor. Von Ollantaytambo aus führt eine asphaltierte Straße hinauf zum Málaga-Pass (4200 m über dem Meeresspiegel) und hinein in den Nebelwald, vorbei an Dörfern wie dem malerischen Huilloc, der Heimat berühmter Weber.
Urubamba bietet wunderschöne Ausblicke auf das Heilige Tal und wird unser Mittags- und Rastplatz sein, wo wir die peruanische Küche genießen können.
Pisac liegt 33 km von Cusco entfernt und ist über eine asphaltierte Straße im Heiligen Tal der Inkas erreichbar. Es besitzt eine Altstadt und eine archäologische Stätte, die zu den wichtigsten in Cusco zählt, sowie eine moderne Stadt kolonialen Ursprungs. Hier befindet sich auch der berühmte Kunsthandwerkermarkt von Pisac, der Tausende von Besuchern und Einheimischen aus abgelegenen Dörfern anzieht, die farbenfrohe Trachten tragen. Es empfiehlt sich, hier Kunsthandwerk zu kaufen, da es in der Regel günstiger ist als in der Stadt Cusco.

I was in doubt if I put the sacred valley on the trip but how good I put it!!! It was very worth the whole day route leaving from Cusco and ending around 16:00 in a hotel to sleep in the sacred valley!!
Was a fun travel day. Among the longer tours on TripAdvisor, I felt this tour had the best value. The day before the tour I reached out on Whatsapp and confirmed the hotel pickup. The additional payment for entrance tickets was clearly explained and there were no surprises. Rafael picked us up promptly at about 7am. The transport was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Rafael's driving felt safe throughout the day. Alfredo Chile was the tour guide. Me and wife, were the only English speaking customers, but Alfredo patiently explained everything in both Spanish and English. It was also fun to travel with a Peruvian clientiele (on the other tours we did in Peru, it was all foreigners). All the stops were about the perfect duration, and we liked that the guide narrative was short and to the point. Had plenty of time to take photos and Alfredo pointed us to the best spot for photos. He also snapped photos for us, when requested. Alfredo answered all follow-up questions we had. Lunch buffet provided was good too. We arrived back in Cusco, approximately at 7pm as was planned. It was a constant, on-the-go tour. Thanks to Rafael and Alfredo, we were able to check off all the Sacred Valley highlights. There were some sales pitches thrown in, something we have seen on group tours in the past, but all were optional, nothing too pushy. Highly recommend this tour.
Dangerous if someone died and they didn't help not with first aid which is the most important thing before anything else because first is safety
Our family of four did a one-day private tour of four sights in the Sacred Valley: Ollantaytambo Archeological Park, Chinchero, Moray and the Maras Salt Mines. We considered just getting a driver but decided to get someone that was an actual guide, and it was a great decision. Percy Salas Alfaro was friendly, very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We learned so much and it made the day really special. Highly recommend Percy!!
Fernando Del Gado was our guide and everything was perfect! Careful, attentive and with lots of information, respected the time of each person and the place is wonderful.
There are no medical services, one person in my group died from abandonment. It took the doctor more than 40 minutes to reach the site without oxygen or defibrillator
I was there!!! was during a visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Ollataytambo, when descending from the archaeological remains, one of the members of our group/tour (in charge of the companies lima tour and eurovips) suffered decompensation, falling to the floor where, after many minutes of despair, he would lose his life. This death could have been prevented. The victim received a first (and only) response for help from his groupmates and foreign tourists who, stunned by not believing that whoever should act did not, They intervened in the face of abandonment that seemed indifferent. NO ONE among those who were supposed to be performing any function in that place did anything or had the indispensable elements that they should have. I can assure you that there was no doctor, no oxygen, no defibrillator, no staff training in this type of problem (a simple protocol) and we were stunned at the incapacity and non-training of the supposed health professionals, who finally came (around 30 minutes later). With some help I would have survived.
