Entdecken Sie die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Linderhof und Neuschwanstein. Unser komfortabler Reisebus bringt Sie mit einer kleineren Gruppe zu den Schlössern Linderhof und Neuschwanstein. Die gesamte Tour wird von einem professionellen englischsprachigen Guide geleitet, der Ihnen eine interessante Schlossführung bietet. Anschließend haben Sie ausreichend Zeit, die Schönheiten des Schlossparks und die atemberaubende Landschaft zu entdecken. Unsere weitere Reise bringt Sie dann nach Hohenschwangau und bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, ein Mittagessen zu genießen und das fabelhafte Schloss Neuschwanstein zu besuchen. Während der Fahrt können Sie aus einer Vielzahl von Getränken wählen, und einige Snacks sind ebenfalls im Paket enthalten. Selbstverständlich steht Ihnen unser sachkundiger Reiseleiter während der gesamten Tour mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und beantwortet Ihre Fragen. Eintrittspreise inklusive!

Wir treffen uns um 8:45 Uhr in der Sonnenstraße 1, 80331 München. Dort finden Sie einen Tourbus mit der Aufschrift „Mentor Reisen“, und unser freundlicher Fahrer und Fortgeschrittener begrüßt Sie beim Einchecken. Um 9 Uhr fahren wir vorbei an mehreren Münchner Wahrzeichen (die der Fortgeschrittener erklärt) auf dem Weg zum Schloss Linderhof und zur Venusgrotte. Ab 1. Mai fahren wir um 8 : 30 Uhr ab und treffen uns um 8 : 15 Uhr!
Gegen 10 Uhr erreichen Sie den Parkplatz Schloss Linderhof. Nachdem der Fortgeschrittener die Tickets am Ticketcenter abgeholt hat, gehen Sie gemeinsam zur Venusgrotte. Der Weg ist leicht bergauf und dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Die Führung durch die künstlich angelegte Grotte mit See dauert ca. 15 Minuten und wird live auf Englisch durchgeführt. Sie werden fasziniert sein vom Farbenspiel und der Inneneinrichtung. Nach 10 Jahren authentischer Restaurierung wurde die Grotte 2025 wieder für Besucher geöffnet. Achtung : Nur im Sommer vom 1. Mai bis 15. Oktober verfügbar.
Gegen 11 Uhr verlassen Sie die Grotte und fahren zum Schloss Linderhof, das seit 2025 zum UNESCO-Kulturerbe gehört. Erkunden Sie die Gärten rund um den Palast auf eigene Faust und machen Sie sich dann auf den Weg zum Palasteingang. Der kleinste, komplett eingerichtete Palast wurde im 19. Jahrhundert im Französischen Rokoko- und Barockstil erbaut. Das Schloss von Versailles beeinflusste sowohl den Baustil als auch die Gärten. Die Führung findet um 11:40 Uhr live in Englisch statt und dauert ca. 30 Minuten. Der Tourbus fährt um 12:30 Uhr ab.
Auf der Strecke zwischen Schloss Linderhof und dem Dorf Hohenschwangau, unterhalb von Schloss Neuschwanstein, liegt das Künstlerdorf Oberammergau. Bekannt ist es für seine Fassadenmalerei (bekannt als Lüftl-Malerei) und Holzschnitzerei. Weltberühmt sind auch die Passionsspiele, die dort alle 10 Jahre stattfinden. Sie zeigen die letzte Lebenswoche Jesu, vom Palmsonntag bis Ostern. Sie werden eine Tour durch die Stadt mit dem Bus machen, da Sie so viel mehr sehen können, als ein kurzer Halt würde.
Nach einer Fahrt von ca. 50 Minuten erreichen wir das Dorf Hohenschwangau. Sobald der Fortgeschrittener die Eintrittskarten für das Schloss an der Kasse abgeholt hat, haben Sie etwas Freizeit. Wir empfehlen auf jeden Fall den Besuch der Marienbrücke. Die Marienbrücke wurde 1845 erbaut und weist noch originale Elemente an ihrem Geländer auf. Von dort aus ist der Blick auf Schloss Neuschwanstein wirklich einzigartig. Sie müssen unbedingt die Gelegenheit nutzen, um ein Foto von dort zu schießen!
Schloss Neuschwanstein erreichen Sie zu Fuß (ca. 30 - 40 Minuten bergauf), mit dem Shuttlebus/mit der Pferdekutsche gegen Gebühr. Ihr Fortgeschrittener wird Ihnen die genauen Details mitteilen. Die Führung durch Schloss Neuschwanstein beginnt kurz nach 16:00 Uhr und dauert mit einem Audioguide ca. 25 Minuten. Danach kehren Sie bitte direkt zum Tourbus zurück. Die Rückfahrt nach München beginnt um 17:30 Uhr

TLDR; seriously not for the faint of heart. There is a lot of uphill walking. Also, there are a lot of stairs, and a lot of walking. Did I mention the walking. Linderhof: Start with an uphill hike to the grotto. The inside is incredible, all man-made. If I could have gone just one place on this trip it would be here. Downhill hike to the palace. If you go all the way through r the garden and up a lot of steps you can see the Venus shrine. Stand near the palace steps and zoom your camera instead. Unless you are here for the walking. The palace itself is OK. It’s tiny and it’s hard to imagine a king living there, even in the solitude he craved. Definitely worth seeing. Neuschwanstein: Seriously, I mean there is one walk from the town up to the castle that is at least a mile. Uphill. All the way. There are shuttle services (bus and horse carriage) but they aren’t free, the lines are long and they pack you in very tightly. I’m not ashamed to say is was puffing like a steam engine at the top (took me 55 minutes - age 72 - fitness level - don’t ask). The castle itself (inside) is disappointing. The outside is awesome from a distance. It’s a LOT of stairs inside too. The King didn’t finish this one before his mysterious death, so there are really only two rooms worth seeing (ballroom/throne room). The rest are relatively pedestrian as he built a lot of modernity into the structure (kitchen, etc.). The tour guide (Kristen for us) is not allowed to give tours inside the castle. This actually makes a little sense once you realize the on-site tour guides have a very crisp script that rushes you through in about 20 minutes. Hey, I just literally hiked a mile, uphill to see this and that’s all you got? Honestly - would not go back. This is no reflection on Kristine or our driver (Rexhin? SP), who both did a great job for us. They were very professional and friendly the entire time and the briefings and timing cues were spot on. Full marks for the company!
Christine was a fantastic guide who was super friendly, gave lots of information about Ludvig II and made sure everyone had a great day. We even got a complimentary upgrade to the VIP tour and received some snacks and drinks on board the coach. The castles were great and the timing did not feel rushed even with the time restraints in each place.

We mistakenly turned up a day early and thought we would have to come back again the next day. Thankfully we had a wonderful guide and driver who contacted the office and got permission for us to join their tour. We were given drinks and snacks at every stop which was really appreciated. The tour was well organised and the guide, Sabine did a wonderful job of entertaining us and keeping us on time so that we were able to enjoy each stop without being rushed. Surprisingly our favourite place was Lindenhof Castle. Would highly recommend this tour.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for any type of weather. A lot of walking uphill and downhill at times.

A well organized tour that allowed us to visit two incredible palaces, plus the Grotto at Linderhof. Our guide Sabine was extremely helpful throughout the day with both practical advice and assistance as well as knowledgeable commentary along the way. Rode over in luxury and had a great tour guide Sabine! Sat in the back in the executive suite with a table and some German beers. Oh and I suppose both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castle were okay too. :)

Sabine was a gracious guide with extensive Bavarian knowledge. She led us through many crowded areas on a Sunday in High Season. The drinks and snacks were plentiful, and the bus was comfortable. We enjoyed a good lunch at a restaurant below the Castle. An enjoyable day in the Alps.

This trip was a great way to spend the day, see the Bavarian countryside, and visit two castles. The bus was comfortable and the complimentary drinks and snacks were much appreciated. Sabine was a wonderful tour guide! Our driver was also wonderful and attentive. You could tell they worked very well together. The value of the tour was worth it, since we didn't have to worry about purchasing tickets at either castle. It was also easy to find the meeting points each time since they were well communicated.
