Snow Monkey Park (Jigokudani Yaen-Koen) Wilde Japanische Makaken baden in natürlichen heißen Quellen, vor allem Beste Reisezeit: Dezember–März → Schnee + Affen im Onsen Ganzjährig geöffnet (Affen ganzjährig anwesend) • Affen streifen frei herum (keine Käfige) • Sie gehen ca. 25–40 Minuten auf einem Waldweg • Keine Berührung oder Fütterung der Affen Öffnungszeiten: • Im Allgemeinen 9:00–16:00 (länger im Sommer, kürzer im Winter)
Zenkōji-Tempel (善光寺) — Naganos historischer buddhistischer Tempel Zenkōji ist einer der wichtigsten und ältesten Tempel Japans mit einer Geschichte von über 1.400 Jahren. Es wird als Kultstätte geliebt, die für jedermann zugänglich ist (nicht an eine bestimmte buddhistische Sekte gebunden) und beherbergt eine der ältesten buddhistischen Statuen Japans – die Ikko Sanzon Amida Nyorai. Eröffnung & Eintritt Stunden: • Tempelbezirke sind generell von frühmorgens bis nachmittags geöffnet (ungefähr ~5 : 00 – 16 : 30; etwas frühere Startzeiten und etwas kürzere Tageslichtstunden im Winter). • Bestimmte Bereiche (Innenbereich der Haupthalle, Museum usw.) haben ihre eigenen Zeiten — normalerweise ~9 : 00 – 16 : 00.

Our driver, Rana, was 25 minutes late to pick us up, and when he came, the car seat he assured me he had was missing parts. He told me not to worry because the ride wasn’t bumpy. About an hour into our long drive, our driver started to doze off at the wheel. After multiple check ins (and him denying his veering and snoring), we made the decision to leave immediately. We are of course so disappointed we couldn’t go to see the snow monkeys, but most concerned about a tour guide with zero concern for safety, poor preparation, and limited skills. It’s unclear if he was a scammer or just completely unprofessional, but either way, we left at a rest stop, a full refund was initiated, and we are glad to be safe.
We did a complete investigation with Rana about this tour, from which we came to know that you were in full contact with Rana. The driver reached your hotel on time. He had told you that today is very windy and the route is completely mountainous. At first, you told our driver that we want to cancel today's tour. Our driver told you to contact our company, but you immediately changed your mind and wanted to go on the tour. Because of this, you were a little late. Due to the strong wind on the way, you asked our driver to stop at a rest area. As soon as the car stopped, you told the driver that we want to go back, to which the driver also asked you to drop off, but you refused. And you have put the entire blame on the driver, he is an unprofessional. You did not inform the company about this, but our driver informed the company and also told them about your irresponsible behavior. We still gave you a full refund right away. Still, if you do, our entire team apologizes.
Outstanding day with mother and daughter trip felt perfectly safe with our wonderful guide. He even returned to our hotel because we forgot our phone charger in the vehicle. Thank you so much.
