As our first trip to see the pyramids was so good we decided to book again this time to Luxor. Again the whole experience was first class with Ahmed our driver getting us to Karnak first before everyone else. Our guide Said was very knowledgeable and friendly which made the whole experience even better. Thanks Ahmed and Said for for the experience and another trip my family will never forget
Our driver, Ahmed, made this trip exceptional from start to finish. He picked us up in a Jet tour 2026 model, precisely on time from Hurghada in a spotless private vehicle with excellent Wi-Fi, a TV playing an interesting documentary about the Egyptian pharaohs, and plenty of refreshments. It was an extremely hot day, but Ahmed was incredibly attentive throughout the journey. He constantly checked that we were comfortable and generously provided an abundance of cold bottled water, soft drinks, snacks, and even ice creams, which were very much appreciated in the heat. Ahmed drove safely and efficiently, getting us to Karnak Temple before the large crowds arrived—we were the very first car there! His excellent planning meant we made the most of the day, and he also got us back well ahead of the scheduled itinerary finish time, which was a real bonus after such a long & hot day. Ahmed's professionalism, punctuality, kindness, and thoughtful attention to our comfort made a huge difference to our experience. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a safe, reliable, and first-class driver. It was truly a VIP experience and there were no additional costs or hidden fees which made the day feel stress free.
Great Service from Ahmed from Hotel - fantastic car and WIFI - drinks etc Back safely by 5pm from Valley of the kings to Hurghada and excellent tour guide Said Highley regarded
This morning at 4.15am we started, so we were there in front of all the other tourists and could take a lot of beautiful photos without people in the picture. Our driver Ahmed was very attentive and offered us drinks and snacks. At the end there was even an ice cream. The tour guide Ismail explained everything very well to us. All around a very nice trip.
We had booked a private tour to Luxor. 1A drive from Ahmed, who took us quickly past the checkpoints to our destination. Our tour guide Nermina has been able to tell us a lot about the history, show us the temple and on a carriage ride the city as well as tell us a lot about the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. It was equally helpful in negotiating in the market that we did not have to pay tourist prices. We saved 2/3 of the price with their help. We would recommend both and book again and again. Greetings Fatima (Ute) and Andrushka
Ahmed and Nermina are a very good and well-rehearsed team. Our driver, Ahmed, had taken care of everything. We arrived very quickly, especially before the other tourists, at the destinations. Nermina, our guide, was equally sovereign. She told us a lot about the sights and history and helped us that we did not have to pay tourist prices. In summary, we can say we will come back and book the same duo next time. Actually worth 6 stars. Kind regards, Fatima and Adrushka
We booked a trip from Hurghada to Luxor yesterday and are absolutely thrilled! Our driver Ahmed was extremely friendly, professional and drove very safely. Thanks to his speedy but always pleasant driving style, we were well ahead of the big tourist rush at the sights – a real advantage. During the trip we were well supplied with snacks and drinks, and the car was very comfortable, so the long distance was really pleasant. In Luxor we met our guide Nermina, who immediately delighted us with her warm manner. She is an Egyptologist by training, has impressive knowledge and has introduced us to the temple complexes in an exciting and understandable way. Of particular note is that she speaks German very well – which has made the tour even more enjoyable. An absolute highlight was the carriage ride through the market of Luxor – an unforgettable experience not to be missed! After this eventful day Ahmed brought us back to the hotel safely and amazingly quickly. Overall, it was a perfectly organized trip with great people – we can recommend this tour without restriction!
We were very pleased with the tour. The driver had arrived a little earlier than agreed. There had been a good reason for that. His intention was to be one of the first tourists to take us to the sights. That had worked out very well too. So we had our peace and time to admire and explore everything. Because, after about 45 minutes, the other tourist buses arrived, and suddenly hunterde of people flow in. We have always escaped this stress. Our driver, Ahmed, carried us a lot of information during the trip and you could also talk to him quite casually about private. Drinks, snacks, air conditioning and Wi-Fi were included in the car. On our tour, Nermina accompanied us. Also a very nice person. She knows a lot and conveys the information in an understandable way. What we were particularly pleased about was that she had not left us alone during the tour. So we felt safe and not badly harassed by the sellers. At the sights we walked around alone after Nermina told us something about it. Finally, I have something important to mention. We didn’t have to worry about anything during the tour in terms of checkpoints and access to the individual stations/sights. Ahmed and Nermina had already prepared everything so we could pass directly. It saved a lot of time. We would like to thank Ahmed and Nermina. Fatima and Andrei
When I booked this tour I was a bit skeptical as all reviews were very good - I booked them anyway and did not regret this in any way. We booked the VIP tour Hurghada to Luxor / Valley of the Kings with Ramashka tour for two. Communication ran in advance via WhatsApp. You must inform the hotel including the room number and send copies of your passport (this is required for forms that all tourist guides must show at the control stations). We were then informed of the pick-up time 4:20 and that guests from Makadi Bay still have to pay an additional fee of 8 euros per person. The driver Achmed arrived before the agreed time and took us with him. The tour is actually private i.e. there were only two of us in a car. The car was an actual new SUV (Jetour X90) with very luxurious interiors. In the car there were plenty of drinks and snacks (all free), WiFi and an introductory video. The driver Achmed did his job excellently - both service and driving style. Thanks to him, we were the first car from Hurhada in Luxor. It is important that there are different convoys - if you miss the first one, you have to wait longer. Thanks to Achmed we were perfect in time and he made some contacts reduce the waiting times. Achmed was very entertaining the entire ride and provided a great experience. Once in Luxor we met our guide Nermina. She studied German and Egyptology in Cairo and was therefore not only German-speaking but also informed about all our questions about Egyptian culture and history. Our first stop was the temple Karnak. Here we were almost the first, so everything was still empty. Nermina had the tickets for all stations - i.e. everything is included and you don't have to worry about anything. Nermina took us through and at the end we had 30 minutes to ourselves. Here Nermina also offered us a necklace with our name embossed in hieroglyphics - we both took after cheapest model for 15 euros (is a nice memory). Afterwards we were led to a papyrus shop. Here we were briefly explained how papyrus is made. Afterwards you are accompanied through the shop - unfortunately you are under a bit of pressure to buy something here. Since we're not both papyrus fans, we bought the cheapest we had so we can continue. In addition, she gave us the options for the next day here (we both participated for an extra charge - but you don't have to). On the one hand a carriage ride through Luxor (30 euros) and on the other hand a boat trip on the Nile (40 euros). First things first: Both things were great and really worth it (Recommended) During the carriage ride you also came through the middle of the market of Luxor - this is really worth seeing. On the Nile cruise we were also alone on the boat. You can also take pictures on the roof of the boat. The boat took us straight to our lunch location. There was buffet with traditional food (was included). Drinks had to be paid for yourself, but were quite cheap. After dinner Achmed was already waiting for us and drove us further. We first went to the Colossi of Memnon for photos and then drove on to the Valley of the Kings. In the Valley of the Kings, Nermina led us to the top three tombs, explained something beforehand and then we went alone into the tombs (guides are not allowed to go into the tombs). The graves were very worth seeing and great to see. Next Achmed drove us on to the temple of Queen Hapshepsut. Again, Nermina explained and carried out everything for us. The good thing is she photographed us everywhere we wanted - many locals there offer it and then want money for photography. As a last stop we went to an alabaster shop - here the staff rehearsed a short show and then want to sell things and get tips. This station was a bit uncomfortable - you come under pressure to buy something here. Again, clear recommendation to skip this station or quickly buy something cheap and then move on. Afterwards we said goodbye to Nermina and went home with Achmed. Thanks to his experience and the good car we were back at the hotel at 17:45. In conclusion, I can say that I really enjoyed the tour and this is the best and most enjoyable way to explore Luxor. Thanks to Nermina we didn't fall for scammers (she always knew what the dos and donts were), we didn't have to wait unnecessarily and no question remained unanswered. Achmed was always on time in all places, had a little surprise after each stop when we were back in the car and made for a relaxed and entertaining day. I would book this tour again at any time and can only recommend it - deserved 5-star!
We had an absolutely amazing VIP day trip to Luxor – everything was perfectly organized from start to finish! Our driver was incredibly friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. Our guide was outstanding – very knowledgeable, passionate, and explained the history of Egypt in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. The visit to the Hatshepsut Temple was breathtaking, and the Valley of the Kings truly exceeded all our expectations. It was a unique and unforgettable experience, made even better by the detailed explanations from our guide. We also really enjoyed the city tour, which gave us a great insight into local life. The boat trip was another highlight – relaxing and beautiful, a perfect addition to the day. Lunch was delicious with a fantastic buffet and a wide variety of options. The surprise ice cream was such a lovely and thoughtful touch! Overall, this VIP tour was worth every penny. Excellent organization, a fantastic team, and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Egypt!
