Reiseverlauf

If you want to experience something unique and at the same time learn about Filipino culture, this is it. Don't look anywhere else, it's just a waste of time, this is it... Bookt It Now!
Ask about swimming and other activities available. We read about it and had to tell our guide we wanted to swim. We had time, but needed to ask to get our swimsuits from the van.
We had a very good experience with the Villa Escudero trip. Our day tour guide from TripAdvisor was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
Everyone should experience Villa Escudero at least once. It is a fun relaxed day. We enjoyed the lunch at the water with the waterfall. Food was good. Waiters were very helpful. It’s good having water shoes for stability in the water. We enjoyed the show afterwards Very much. Although we did not look at the opportunities for children we noted that there were those kinds of entertainment. They for sure will enjoy the water buffalo ride. I visited in 2007, and it was good to revisit this unique place. Eileen from Minnesota
Great time riding carabao cart with a group singing filipino folk song. Lunch in their man made falls soaking ur feet while eating. Nice facilities with entertainment at dinner time. Highly recommended for balikbayans as well as foreign guests. Quite expensive for an average income family.
The local quide Nori opened up Philippine history book! He's very knowledgeable. And the van driver was very good & kept us safe. Lunch buffet was good with soaked feet in the water, cultural show was very entertaining & the carabao ride was so much fun with the seranade! The museum was interesting & rafting was awesome!
We go by ourselves using a private car. The place is self is OK, nothing extraordinary. The cultural show is just ok too - traditional dance and sing. The buffet lunch also just ok, not much variety and additional charge for drinks like coconut water. The pool is quite small. The best part probably the rafting. So consider the time required to go and back to Manila (around 3-4 hours), it's not something that make it a MUST visit place.
This truly was unique. Didn't know what to expect. The pictures don't do it justice, we had a blast using the bamboo rafts, eating by the waterfalls.. so unique. We didn't the included culture show. instead we went to the 18 and up pool for 2 hours and relaxed. Didn't know that was a part of the deal. Recommend getting a locker for 100 pesos. Statues and museum was a little creepy to be honest. The trip to the plantation was long but you got to see the local life. I wouldn't have had that chance if not this tour. Go do it!

medium, a tourist trap with a dusty and uninteresting museum

Beautiful grounds. Museum really helped put Filipino culture in perspective. The BBQ buffet was delicious and fun eating under the waterfalls. Wished we were able to see the traditional show. Recommend going on a weekend, to see the show.
