Awesome tour! With worry free transport.

When coming on this tour bring a backpack and with waters snacks water shoes and lots of sun block. With that being said Rafa the tour guide was great, he explained everything around the island then when David the bio bay tour on the kayak was very knowledgeable and funny over it was a awesome experience to see the water light up when you stir and agítate it.

Worst experience in puerto rico

First I want to start with, this was the worst experience I have ever been on. The people picking you up are rude, couldn’t get the location, right we put on the app to be picked up at Marriott stellaris, and they went to the Hyatt. The time of the tour was also very deceiving.. they tell you they will let you the day before at 4 they texted at 8. The tour girl was not good uneventful you could barely understand her barely explain things to us on the island. The beach they take you is so dirty and nasty. They say drinks and snacks are included but you don’t get anything till 430 when you arrive at the beach, witch is crazy bc they pick you up at 11am. They got us on the kayak at 7:45 and we returned at 8:30 and we didn’t see anything at all the guy on the kayak. Continue to tell us he didn’t know why nothing the water wasnt lighting up. For a tour that 200$+ a person and the experience is so bad it’s crazy. I will know for next time. You could literally get a hotel on the island rent your own kayak and rent something to ride around the island for under $200. The ferry is only a $10 ride for two people round-trip. It sucks because we did tours all week in Puerto Rico and they were amazing and the one thing that we look for the most thi tour company did the worst job I have ever seen.

We are genuinely sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations. However, many of the statements in this review are inaccurate and do not reflect how our tour operates. For future readers, we encourage you to look beyond a single review and read the hundreds of verified reviews and guest photos shared over the years. They provide a much more accurate representation of the experience we consistently deliver. Regarding transportation, our records show that your pickup location and itinerary were communicated prior to the tour, and our driver followed the confirmed schedule. Throughout your interactions with our team before the tour, our staff made every effort to assist you professionally despite repeated complaints and frustration before the experience had even begun. Our itinerary is also fully disclosed before booking. This is a full-day experience that includes beach time, free time in Esperanza, dinner on your own, and the evening Bio Bay tour. Snacks and beverages are provided during the scheduled beach portion of the itinerary exactly as described. Nothing about the schedule is hidden or misleading. As for Mosquito Bay, no tour operator, guide, or company can ever guarantee the brightness of the bioluminescence on a particular night. This is a natural phenomenon affected by environmental conditions beyond anyone’s control. We encourage every guest to understand this before booking, as clearly explained in our tour information. The condition of public beaches and natural areas is also managed by local authorities—not by tour operators. While we wish every beach were pristine every day, we simply cannot control seaweed, debris brought in by tides, weather, or other natural conditions. We respectfully disagree with the characterization of our guides. They work hard every day to provide a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for guests from around the world, as reflected in the overwhelming majority of our reviews. We stand behind the quality of our service, our professionalism, and our transparency. While we understand that nature-based experiences can sometimes fall short of expectations due to conditions outside anyone’s control, we do not believe this review accurately represents the service our team provided. We wish you the very best in your future travels.

A must excursion across SJ/Vieques. Look no further.

The experience was great. The price and value were fantastic. Multiple legs of the trip flawless, various drivers, and guides from SJ to Mosquito Bay and back all polite and friendly. It is a very long day (10a-1130p) so prep your mind. Guides were friendly, transportation was AC centered, Ferry experience and exchange transfers were painless. Beach portion was isolated, beautiful, and relaxing; even included snacks and beer. Dinner options in Vieques were great in the small town. Kayaking and Mosquito experience with David was surreal. Be aware, its hard to get photos of the glow in total darkness so enjoy it but perhaps master those phone settings prior if you want proof. The experience was well worth it. Top TIER booking.

Bring towels and, besides...

Bring towels and, besides your swimsuit, have a dry set of clothes with you. The island of Vieques is everything i pictured my trip to puerto rico would be. But it's a very VERY long day.

Incredible biobay experience

Vieques biobay was the brightest biobay we have seen(seen in fajardo and also Jamaica). It was so mesmerizing, i could stay forever and because of the beauty, you felt it was just too short. You should know how to kayak well though, otherwise wouldn't recommend as they do not wait or teach you. They do pick you up for hotel and ferry(it can make one sea sick). They take you to sun bay where they have beach chairs and really nice warm swimming area. Then Esperanza where we could eat dinner(Duffy's was awesome) and biobay. Overall really well organized and reliable. The drivers from condado to the ferry were insane both times and were driving at crazy speeds but we made it.

Started off strong but missed the mark.

I chose this company based on the outstanding reviews.. In deed they have it planned well. Unfortunately our group was so large they split us apart and we ended up in a taxi where the driver gave us no information as we drove through the island as opposed to the main van, we got to the beach and were re joined the rest of the group and it was great.. Beautiful beach and the guide cut up fresh fruit and had beer, and water for all of us. After we split up again and headed to town for dinner on our own.. The guide again was awesome and told us all about the different restaurants available. She also mentioned that we would split up again and the main van group would head out at 6:30 to the bio bay as planned but our group would head out at 7 with a different company. Ok still no a huge deal but now we were 30 min behind and with a new company.. I thought the new company would be fine but the guide let us know we would be headed down an extremely rough road (one they do not use) and then have to go through sludge to reach the bay. We ended up in pretty below par life jackets, a seasoned van, and walking through sludge that smelled like death. Still I embraced it as an adventure. We paddled to get out there and then once we reached the bay the new company guide said some important fact and info about the bay we think.. It was hard for us all to understand becuase of a strong accent. I speak both Spanish and English and had a hard time.. Several other members of our group could not understand anything. After the 5 min chat it was over.. Maybe 15-20 minutes on the bay itself.. Not enough time to enjoy.. The itinerary said we had an hour.. We headed back to the sludge and walked right through it again.. At the end the new company guide rinsed our feet but we still had the smell on us for the entire trip home.. It was gross. When speaking to other members of the original group they had nice jackets, transportation, road entry, and no sludge.. They also got longer on the bay.. The other members (my group) were not so lucky. Our original guide was so amazing but unfortunately we got out in the hands of another company and it was not the greatest experience. It was the TEMU tour. I spoke to our guide to give her feedback about our trip but she was not receptive to what we just went through. There is more I could write about the ending of our tour but I think this is enough. I really wish I could have gave this one a five star like all my other tours here but it missed the mark.

Bad

We are very disappointed with our 5-hour Vieques tour. During the entire trip, there were no restrooms available for guests. We were informed that the restaurants were closed due to the water outage, but no alternative restroom facilities were provided. A 5-hour tour without access to a restroom is unacceptable and significantly affected our experience. If we had known this in advance, we would have reconsidered booking the tour. We request appropriate compensation or a refund for the inconvenience caused. We would appreciate your prompt response.

It was a long day but totally worth the time and trip. Would do it again but this time stay on Vieques and do the later evening tour.
