Ein Besuch der Victoria Falls ist nicht komplett ohne eine faszinierende Sunset Cruise und The Zambezi Explorer, Pure Africas Flaggschiff-Sonnenuntergangskreuzer, bringt ein willkommenes Maß an Raffinesse auf den Fluss. Neu gestaltete Möbel, handgewebte Stühle mit Ndebele-Muster und stimmungsaufhellende Leuchten ergänzten kürzlich die zeitgenössischen Designelemente. Es gibt drei Decks an Bord, das 'Signature Deck' auf der obersten Ebene ist pure Extravaganz mit Gourmethors d'oeuvres, Cocktails und Premium-Getränken, die von einem engagierten Mixologen serviert werden. Während Sie auf dem oberen Sambesi-Fluss fahren, werden Sie auch den Nebel der magischen Victoriafälle sehen. Der Sambesi ist der viertlängste Fluss Afrikas, der längste östlich fließende Fluss Afrikas und der größte, der von Afrika in den Indischen Ozean mündet. Der 2.574 Kilometer lange Fluss (1.599 Meilen) entspringt in Sambia und fließt durch Ostangola, entlang der Nordostgrenze Namibias und der Nordgrenze Botswanas, dann entlang der Grenze zwischen Sambia und Simbabwe nach Mosambik, wo er die Land in den Indischen Ozean münden. Das bekannteste Merkmal des Sambesi sind die Victoriafälle.
Dieser Park besteht aus 40 km der Sambesi-Flussfront und einer Vielzahl von Wildtieren, einem reichen Mopane-Wald und einer Savanne im Landesinneren. Der Sambesi-Nationalpark ist mit dem Victoria Falls-Nationalpark verbunden und beide Parks erstrecken sich über eine Fläche von 56 000 Hektar. Im Park gibt es eine Vielzahl größerer Säugetiere. Wenn Sie Glück haben, können Sie während Ihrer Fahrt auf dem Sambesi auf Tiere wie Flusspferde, Elefanten, Krokodile und Kudus stoßen.

Our family went on the SUNRISE cruise and it was stunning!! It was so peaceful- we were the only family on the boat and the only boat on the river. We saw so many birds and hippos. Very memorable experience!

The meal was very good, drinks were unlimited, there was everything we wanted. Once you have removed that. We saw hippos. We saw crocodiles, we saw nature, a great sunset. We took the time to sail and spend a moment out of time. What a pleasant moment I really want to thank the boat staff who were infinitely kind and perfectly professional.

The tour was relaxing, hassle free pickup, good snacks and drinks and nice views. We spotted some hippos, watched sunset. Only difficulty was the chairs, which were quite uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time cruising on the Zambezi with Pure Africa! We chose the luxury experience which included drinks and canapes. While we didn't book a dinner cruise, the delicious food we were served filled us up so that we ultimately skipped dinner that night. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were also included in the price. There is some narration during the cruise to provide a safety orientation and help passengers understand some of the local geography. However, guests are mostly left alone to relax and just enjoy the water, the scenery, hunting for animals, and the sunset. It was very relaxing! We saw hippos, crocodiles, birds, and even elephants. We were picked up from our hotel just before 4pm, and returned by about 6:30 by a very helpful driver. This was a perfect ending to a day that included a walking tour of Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience! The boat was very nice with comfy couches and chairs and great views from the top deck. On this sunset cruise alone we saw 2 sets of Wart Hogs, bloats of hippos, birds, and elephants on the way back to our hotel. Food was good and service was fantastic.

We had a really great experience overall and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff were absolutely excellent. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The boat itself was beautiful and clearly very well maintained, which made the whole experience feel special and memorable. The only downside was the food. Unfortunately, it was quite average, very plain and not quite up to the same standard as the rest of the experience. Portions were also on the smaller side, and it definitely felt like this is an area that needs improvement. Especially for the price! That said, we still had a wonderful time and would recommend it, especially for the service and the stunning boat. With some upgrades to the catering, it would be a five-star experience!
