Viator is not a great choice.
Viator refund policy is not reliable. We had to scramble to make our connection, but one we arrived,, the Palace was AMAZING!
The Palace also did not honor our purchase of the eat buds and we had to purchase again. :(

Disadvantages
The headquarters is in the USA, from France: time difference if you want to call.
It is a disadvantage.

Check tickets before you go.
Be sure to open QR code before you get there. The palace only takes barcode tickets.
I called help line for assistance and they did help immediately and changed the time on the ticket from 11:30 to 1:00 due to our troubles. However, the audio payment did not transfer and so didn’t want to hold up the line, so I purchased two more.

Barely 1 hour in the...
Barely 1 hour in the castle, because of the heatwave, they kicked us out at 4:30 PM.
Can we ask for compensation?

Crowded and hot experience
We never received the audio we had to pay extra. The palazzo is sooooo hot and you are walking room to room with lines of ppl. It’s not a great experience tbh overated. I love the Caserta palace so much better you see so much more and less ppl

Purchased 4 tickets for...
Purchased 4 tickets for the wrong date without the option to change it even a few minutes after the transaction... I tried to contact several times but without success... very disappointed...

The technology.....
The Palace of Versailles is very worth seeing on its own.
However, the booking process is very confusing. Due to the emails from Viator, one could access the Viator App (which needed to be downloaded beforehand), but that was about it. In short, everything was very cumbersome and confusing for our booking, especially since it was also very difficult to use the internet due to the number of visitors. We booked a tour with an audio guide. However, no one (including the Versailles staff at the information desk) knew where and how we could get the audio guide. On the contrary: we were told that our audio guide reservation was 90% unsuccessful, due to another provider??!!!! Due to the language difficulties, we gave up and downloaded the Palace of Versailles app, which was recommended by the in-house staff, and we strolled through the rooms with it. By the way, it worked very well. So it would have only cost us the basic entry fee! What a pity!

Large, beautiful and worth a visit.
An incredibly large and beautiful park, which if you want to see everything should rent the electric car. However, you do not get to everywhere anyway but need to park and walk.

Poorly scheduled visit, too late, didn't have time to get to the Trianon, and for the audio guide, there was no Wi-Fi.
Very arrogant and bad-tempered staff, poorly scheduled time, do not offer after 3 p.m., not enough time to do everything even though we had paid. No Wi-Fi for the audio guide.
