Es verbindet die spätmittelalterliche Burg von Verona mit dem linken Ufer der Etsch. Es wurde bei einem Bombenangriff fast zerstört und später vollständig wieder aufgebaut, genau wie das Original.

Romeos Haus ist ein mittelalterlicher Palast im Zentrum von Verona. Bis zum Beginn des 14. Jahrhunderts war es die Heimat der Familie Montecchi, die nach Legenden und literarischen Texten Romeos Familie war. Das Gebäude ist privat, bewohnt und kann nur von außen gesehen werden

Es ist der Scaligeri-Friedhof. Neben mehreren Sarkophagen finden wir die drei wunderschönen Bögen, die für Cangrande I, Mastino II und Cansignorio gebaut wurden.
Es war das Forum, Zentrum des Stadtlebens während der Römerzeit. In der Mitte des Platzes befinden sich die Denkmäler, die die verschiedenen Herrscher von Verona symbolisieren: Der berühmteste ist der Brunnen, der während der Herrschaft der Scaligeri erbaut wurde.
Die Piazza dei Signori war das ehemalige Machtzentrum in Verona. Eine große Statue des berühmten italienischen Dichters Dante Alighieri dominiert seit 1865 den Platz und gab dem Platz den Spitznamen „Piazza Dante“.

It was difficult to understand the tour guide who was Italian and gave the tour in English. He showed us basic historical sites with a little explanation. You could probably read up on sites to see on your own.

Guide never showed up to the walking tour. Called the office after 15 minutes of waiting, they stated the person had an emergency. It would have been nice for the office to let us know so that we didn’t have to travel to the city for nothing.
