Verdure Grand Cruise Halong Overnight 5 Sterne Kreuzfahrt (2D1N)

The boat was the most disappointing part of our holiday , you had too pay for tea and coffee and bottled water ,they supplied 2 bottles of water in room, meals were not that great ,vegetables cold . That they had filled them selves ,after being told only to drink sealed bottled water while in Vietnam. . The room we were in ,you could hear the generator all night which you could put up with ,but the smell of oil was unpleasant felt like I was sleeping in a garage . Then at night hearing rats running across ceiling wasn’t pleasant . Spoke with other travellers they also heard rats Was supposed to have tai chia lesson in early mornng , but instructor was not available . This boat was a disgrace and would only be good for D grade backpackers

From pick-up to drop-off at the hotel, it was a beautiful experience. The English guide, Mr Tim smart and handsome Cruise Manager, was an amazing host, and his co-workers provided knowledge about the places and helped click photos and make videos. It is a fun environment, relaxing, and good for vacation. It would have not been an amazing experience without Mr Tim Cruise Manager.

An awesome trip and lovely way to explore Halong Bay. Boat was well equipped, clean and tidy. We were fortunate to have a balcony room and the room itself was spacious. We had a long wait for the bus back to Hanoi after the trip but that was unavoidable. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Only criticism was that the bar closed early. By 10pm we had one young bar lady in her pjs who obviously just wanted to go to bed.

We were so looking forward to this cruise. We chose an up graded room as we wanted our experience to be special. We opted to go to Lan Ha bay as it is less crowded than Ha Long bay. It was a long drive from Hanoi and we didn't board until about 1pm after a 7.30am pick-up. There was a lengthy wait on shore before we boarded the tender which was very uncomfortable with hard bench seats and no back board to rest against. This journey took about 45 min to get to the main vessel. Our suite on the 2nd floor was very spacious clean and comfortable. However other guests spoke of used toilet paper still left in the bins in their room and mold and dirt on the walls and blinds The large windows between our suite and balcony needed a clean but otherwise the room was lovely. It was not a cruise as such as the boat went to one location and dropped anchor. That was very disappointing as it would have been great to see more of the various karsts and the bay. The activities were well organised and communicated to passengers. The food was OK. Nothing outstanding. Small buffet fare. The drink prices were completely exorbitant!! Much more than any city we had been in. Full measures were not used in cocktails. My partner picked the bar tender up on this. Others commented on this too Wine prices were 4 times more than what they are in Australia for the same bottle. Even local beer was double its usual price. Staff were helpful and friendly enough but had limited English Still, that was way better than my Vietnamese!

Pleasant staff, plentiful and tasty food, drinks not too expensive. Tour to cave overly busy, beach is not appealing. More could be done to make the beach a really fabulous attraction and maybe it will be eventually. The cave was too crowded, they should control the entry of people better. Overnight entertainment of Karaoke was OK, could have done things better, eg downloading songs sometimes had lag but hey we’re in the middle of the bay!

I went with an Australian tour group and had a fantastic time. Mr Jack Sparrow and the team were excellent, plenty of activities around the bay and were treated to great food, drinks and hospitality The boat is a little bit older but was well taken care of and I had a clean room with the essentials Would absolutely do it again. Once in a lifetime experience. The cruise is beautiful. The trip organizers were very nice and good to us.

Lovely 2 day experience with Le Journey cruise in Ha Long Bay. The breathtaking views of limestone karsts and emerald waters were mesmerizing. The crew’s hospitality and service were top-notch. Very interesting itinerary. Thank you Mr. Jack!
