Transfer bei der Abreise zum Flughafen Venedig Marco Polo

When we were ready to depart, we were informed that a boat was not available and we would have to have our own alternative transportation from Venice to the Airport.

Travel was coordinated well and worked great for our group. It was a short walk to the pickup point and they were on time

They are a scam asked for hotel pick up after I paid they wanted my to walk a half mile to pick up point with bags and leave 41/2 hours before flight . Refused to refund money.

Lack of coordination between Viator and the activity provider. With less than 80 minutes' notice, the activity provider changed the activity time as well as the meeting point, totally unacceptable

Booked our departure well in advance. Provided the time we needed to leave and location on our booking. In small print on the booking confirmation was a note that we apparently needed to also contact them 24 to 48 hours in advance. However they also knew we needed to be picked up and never contacted us to check. By the time we saw the small print the night before - they were closed and wouldn’t be opening until iafter the time we had to leave for the airport in the morning. Luckily we met some other travelers that invited us to share their private transfer booked with a different company to get to the airport on time or we would have missed our shuttle and our cruise (everyone else we contacted was fully booked or would have taken too long to get to the airport). Very dissappointed in their communication as they never responded to any of our messages we sent via the Viator app. Viator was great though and refunded our money without incident after they also tried contacting the transfer service.

Never showed up! Had a flight out of Venice at 9am and they were a no show. I called them 15 minutes after scheduled pick up time. The rep said he would find out where they were. Another 15 minutes later he called back and said the boat “broke down” and that he was unable to locate any other water taxi drivers. The only way out of Venice is by water taxi and there was nothing opened that early. Thankfully our hotel concierge was able to give us a suggestion. So we had to run through Venice with our heavy bags, through the cobblestone streets and all the stairs to get to the water bus which took us to the train station and from there we had to take a regular taxi to the airport. Thankfully we just made it on our flight but not without sweat, stress and lots of anxiety. It would have been nice if someone had communicated that there would be no pick up as soon as the “boat broke” to give us additional time to figure out what our next steps were. We didn’t have time to complete all our tax/vat claims at the airport because of the lack of time, so additional money lost there.

I have used this service twice and both times it was excellent! They were on time, and very helpful.

It was best experience getting to the airport. The boat arrived on time at the location provided which was 5 mins walk from my hotel.

Terrible, terrible service!!! Beware! Paid EXTRA FEE for watertaxi (high charge to start with) early p.u. to Venice airport. They were hour late, no calls, no communication. Since they WOULD NOT schedule early time, time was critical. We missed flight, and no other flights out to make connection. We had to re-route entire flight home, now 3 plane changes, running to make connections. 20 hrs to get home! (Not including time changes) plus had to make home transportation adjustments, HORRIBLE service, and yet they hit me credit card even though they said they would refund. Terrible service, BEWARE! in almost 50 yrs traveling, never missed a flight, except with thier service.

Very good, just a lack of information about the return time. Received at the end of the afternoon for a 3 a.m. departure).
