We had a lovely time with a delightful host. Many chuckles. It was great to get hands on advice. We have been to Venice several times and seen most of the tourist spots. This was for fun.

I thought I booked a cooking class for tagliatelle. In retrospect, it turned out to be a spiritual experience. Irene looked at a mountain of flower for five seconds and suddenly there was perfect tagliatelle. I tried the same thing and created what looked suspiciously like a curtain cord. Somewhere between the kneading, laughter and the wine I became convinced that Irene is secretly the patron saint of pasta. I can't prove that, but I can't deny it either. Since the course I look at tagliatelle differently. We have a bond. My supermarket pasta now feels like a personal betrayal. 5 stars. I would follow Irene without hesitation if she announced tomorrow that we are going to knit a giant tagliatelle in the mountains of Italy with 300 people.
Fun experience with the family making bruschetta, pasta and tiramisu. Irene was great and showed us lots of great techniques. Would definitely recommend.

Great class Grances a was a delight. We were impressed by her perfect Englis and the restaurant was very clean. We learned a lot of tips on making pasta and tiramisu. But we didn’t get the recipes she was suppose to email. Possible. You can take of that?

Our teacher was very nice but she was very overwhelmed by the amount of people as well as the children in the class. We could barely participate because the kids wanted to do everything but nothing was said to have us take turns. There were lots of things we didn’t get to see or experience

I really enjoyed it. Our instructor was good, welcoming and gave history about the food as well as personal experience. At the end we all ate together like a one big happy family. It was a memorable experience!

Great fun and dinner was delicious. First we made a tiramisu which was much better and I felt less heavy than some that you get. Then we made our tagliatelle which is more work than you might think, but Valeria the instructor was wonderful. Then we selected our sauces. And finally we made a bruschetta with a rubbed garlic clove and a delicious tomato topping. We really enjoyed it.

We did the cooking course in Venice with Paolo. The food was delicious and I feel we were equipped with many useful skills and tips. The unlimited prosecco was very fun. Paolo was fantastic, highly recommend!!

This was a fun group cooking class in the heart of Venice. We learnt how to make Tiramisu, and make our own pasta (tagliatelle). The guide (Valeria) was very good and shared a lot of sweet stories about her own family and cooking. Valeria was a skilled, good and patient teacher given she had to deal with a range of skills / knowledge in the room. It should be noted that you don't make the sauce as the making of the pasta itself takes some time. This was a lot of fun and there were quite a few laughs as people tried to work the dough! A small note - The unlimited prosecco is a little bit of misnomer... whilst we started with a small glass, more prosecco was limited until we had finished using knives (this is pretty reasonable from a safety perspective but as the knife work is the last step... this was about 2 hours in). Also, I felt like there was reluctance to open more than one bottle, even after we had finished cooking and were waiting for our meal. Not a big deal, but a bit weird given the title of the class.
