The tour guide spoke poor English which made her difficult to follow. Appointments on location were unclear. The organization was messy and chaotic. In Venice itself another guide who fortunately spoke much better English.
It is a long day trip but worth it if you want to fit a trip to Venice in while in Bergamo. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, you had free time in Venice and the Gondola trip was good fun
The trip to Venice was all around super organized! The tour guide was very nice, helpful and always approachable. The bus arrived on time and the journey went smoothly. Especially great was the recommendation for a really good restaurant – a real insider tip! Venice itself is simply incredibly beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. Thank you for this great trip – I can only recommend it!
Great time and the perfect taste of Venice! Everything was really well organized and I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Could’ve spent a week there but this gives you the perfect glimpse into what Venice has to offer with amazing guides.
We enjoyed our day trip to Venice!! Wish our guide would have explained the gondola situation a little more in depth but it turned out to be another amazing experience. We do wish we had more free time to explore, experience and shop. The guides should consider wait times to go into places. You won’t be allowed to enter the church if you have on shorts and the wait time is at least 45 mins.
The guided tour of Venice was interesting, as well as the historical facts that our guide (Salvatore) shared with us during the bus journey. The bus itself was comfortable, and we did enough stops. The optional gondola ride was great, I highly recommend taking it.
The trip experience was average. The coach journey was smooth and plenty of stop offs to go to the toilet etc. The tour guide was very unfriendly. Had to pay €25 per person for the gondola boat ride. Not much time in Venice, had about 2 hours of free time all together. If I had known this, I would have independently went to Venice and explored myself.
The overall trip was nice! You don't have a lot of time to explore on your own, but the tour guide does a great job explaining things on the walking part of the tour. It's hot and humid in Venice right now so keep that in mind. Maybe take a sun hat or umbrella. My only complaint would be the viator ad made it sound like the gondola ride is included but we had to pay 25 euros extra per person to actually go on the gondola ride. Hopefully they get that fixed so it's more clear in the future. Even with the extra cost its still a good trip if your short on time and only have a day to go to venice.
Excursion from Bergamo to Venice, my participation in this activity is reduced to paying 198 euros and losing them by not allowing me to make a modification on the date of the reservation (for just cause and demonstrated to Zani Viaggi ) because neither I, nor my friend , had any human way of contacting anyone from Zani Viaggi on a Monday afternoon to proceed. Even civitatis who charges only to act as a mediator said he could not contact zani viaggi either. Zani Viaggi shows signs of life after boarding the tour to say that he does not change our date or return the money because he has lost selling our places to other people which is not true. Places were offered at least through the civitatis page until the beginning of the excursion which was carried out with free seats. They refused to make a date change to the reservation, when there were free places on the two dates involved in the change. Nobody should contract anything in advance with this Enterprise if they don't want to risk being ripped off and lying to you indecently.
It was a nice trip, but we bought the trip, for the gondola trip, as it says there is, so there is not.....
