Wir werden diese schöne Gegend namens Castello während der Tour besuchen. Es bietet ein entspanntes, authentisches kulinarisches Erlebnis, das seine Gastronomieszene zu etwas ganz Besonderem macht. Als größtes und am meisten bewohntes Sestiere ist Castello weniger touristisch als andere Gegenden, so dass lokale Aromen in familiengeführten Trattorias und versteckten Bars glänzen können. Lorenzo was friendly and professional, his knowledge for the local enteries was very insightful and shared his passion for these places, as a local these are local. We enjoyed a mixed of items that included cicchetti, cold meats & cheese (+ bonus warm sandwich), wine and a coffee to finish, while enjoying the strolling through the alleys of Venice, I felt like a local - lol not really but it was great. Being a local, Lorenzo was able to share other insightful tips n tricks or places to try should you feel inclined, we really enjoyed our tour, gracies.

Terrible directions and nothing to indicate where the host was waiting, no sign or anything. They even sent picture of where the meeting point was (afterwards) which only confirmed I went to correct location.
My husband and I booked this tour while on our honeymoon. We were paired with another lovely couple and our tour guide, Greta, was very knowledgeable and so sweet. It was really great to be able to experience Venice with a local's perspective and she took us to a few spots we never would have ventured to on our own. Would highly recommend one of your first days in Venice so you can get to know more history and see parts of the city you may not see otherwise. Thanks Greta for such a lovely experience!

The tour with Alice was an absolute highlight of our stay in Venice! Already at the first meeting at Campo San Giacomo di Rialto, she captivated us with her warm personality and palpable enthusiasm. Together, we wandered through three completely different neighborhoods, each with its own charm and special stories. We tried local wines and typical Venetian specialties, which Alice spiced up with exciting background information and little insider tips. We particularly enjoyed how she brought legends and anecdotes to life – suddenly, we saw the city with entirely different eyes. In between, there were always little breaks to enjoy and marvel, the perfect mix of culture, culinary delights, and joy of life. This tour not only made us full and happy but also brought Venice closer to us in a new, very personal way. An experience that we will remember for a long time!
We met our guide Greta as described and she was early and ready to go. We strolled to 4-5 locations and tasted 2-3 bites at each. They were local favorites, and really tasty! 😋. The tour is a walk and standing, but the locations were not far from one another. Great did a great job, and we’d totally recommend this tour. It’s not dinner, but delicious tastings.
