Pohořelec ist Treffpunkt und Ausgangspunkt der Tour. Wir treffen uns um 9 :00 Uhr bei der Statue des heiligen Johannes von Nepomuk. Dieser ruhige Platz in der Nähe der Prager Burg ist ein idealer Ort, um die Erfahrung zu beginnen, bevor Sie in die historischen Straßen und versteckten Juwelen der Gegend gehen.
Strahov Library ist eine der schönsten historischen Bibliotheken der Welt. Während einer kurzen Führung bewundern wir die theologischen und philosophischen Säle und erfahren mehr über die Geschichte des Klosters, seltene Handschriften und atemberaubende barocke Dekoration.
Nový Svět ist eine versteckte, märchenhafte Straße in der Nähe der Prager Burg. Während eines kurzen geführten Spaziergangs erkunden wir seine ruhigen Ecken, bunten Häuser und hören Geschichten über ehemalige Bewohner, Künstler und die einzigartige Atmosphäre fernab der Massen.
Der Hradčany-Platz bietet einen der beeindruckendsten Aussichtspunkte Prags. Während eines kurzen geführten Stopps erkunden wir seine großartige Architektur, edle Paläste und lernen die historische Rolle des Platzes vor den Toren der Prager Burg kennen.
Erweiterte Führung durch die St. Veits Kathedrale, die einen tieferen Einblick in ihre Geschichte, Kunst und Architektur ermöglicht.
Geführte Besichtigung der St. Georgs Basilika, Entdeckung ihres romanischen Inneren und ihrer tiefen mittelalterlichen Wurzeln.
Dann fahren wir mit der Standseilbahn auf den Petřín-Hügel und schließlich besteigen wir gemeinsam die tschechische Version des Eiffelturms – Petřínská rozhledna. Unsere Belohnung wird ein Panoramablick auf das große Prag sein – nicht nur auf das Zentrum, sondern auch auf seine Vororte und weiter entfernte Umgebungen, z.B. Vulkane des České Středohoří-Gebirges. Von dort kehren wir durch die wunderschöne Natur des Petřín-Parks und der Strahov-Gärten zurück nach Pohořelec, wo wir unsere Wanderung beenden.
Abstieg über die Treppe der Alten Burg mit malerischem Blick, die Prager Burg mit Kleinstadt über dem Flusstal verbindet.
Besuchen Sie den Valdštejn-Garten, eine ruhige Barockoase mit Brunnen, Statuen und Pfauen unterhalb des Schlosses.
Die Tour endet um 13:00 Uhr am Malostranske-Platz, einem Ort mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Verbindungen zu Orten, zu denen Sie gelangen müssten.

Barbra is the gold standard of tour guides. A wonderful gothic cathedral, perfect line at the box office, they give you the ticket with the map , great cumulative price advice to add the bell tower view of the wonderful city

Superb, richly decorated and preserved library. In the autumn, the colours of the park surrounding the monastery returned an exceptional pomp, the site is absolutely worth a visit!

Adam was excellent. He knew his history and was made the day an enjoyable experience. While Prague has some significant elevation changes, we seemed to be walking downhill all day. History, food, beer made for an informative day.

This was just a wonderful day visiting sites that were all centrally located and yet somehow a little off the beaten path. Unlike the big sites that are overwhelmed with tourists by late morning, I kept wondering why more tourists weren't around us all day long. I would argue that some of the things that we saw on this tour were as beautiful as anything we saw on the tours of the more well-known sites, but we could take the time to explore and enjoy them with our guide because they weren't anywhere near as busy. The highlights for me were Saint Nicholas church and the unbelievably beautiful libraries at the monastery - but everything we saw that day was special. This tour should not be a replacement of a visit to all of the iconic sites in Prague, but if you have a week to spend in the city like we did, this tour is well worth your time later in the week. In particular, our guide was accommodating, thoughtful, and well informed and made the experience all the better.

Communication on where and when to start the tour was excellent with was able to meet our guide with ease. The tour itself was informative, flexible and our guide ensured we stayed on track for timing while meeting our tempo. We never felt rushed and our guide was a wealth of information as we peppered him with a ton of questions. He is professional, knowledgeable and so very personable, putting us at ease immediately. We knew that we were in good hands and had no worries. His recommendations were top notched and had a ton of options for lunch. Overall, an excellent tour and would definitely recommend!
