We recently had the pleasure of visiting India for the first time. After an amazing tour through Rajhastan, Agra and a short visit to the Kumbh Mela, it was with both excitement and trepidation that we arrived in the extremely spiritual and magical city of Varanasi. We had expectations to see spectacular, and also some difficult sights. However the two day visit was made even more special than we could have imagined by the wonderful guidance of local guide, Rahi (R. Jha Rahi). After Rahi had advised us how to handle any local “difficulties” we might encounter (mostly being bothered by hustlers) , he proceeded to take us on a 2 day tour in which absolutely no difficulties were encountered. Rahi accompanied us to the evening Aarti ceremony, explained ritual cremations, guided us through the winding narrow lanes and market places, and took us on a wonderful half day visit to Sarnat and all its sights. Rahi is a very worthy representative of Varanasi with a refreshingly philosophical approach to life, a pleasant and calming demeanor, and a wonderful sense of humor. Apart from his professionalism and wealth of knowledge, he was great company and we can heartily recommend his services to anyone fortunate enough to visit this unique location.

I contacted Indrajeet regarding booking one of his tours in Varanasi for a group of 15 of us. Everything was handled beautifully. From the airport transfers to the tours themselves. Our guide was emtremely knowledgeable and patient. We had the best view of the Varanasi for our sunset tour, a most humbling experience.
