Overall it was a good trip. The crew was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to spot humpback whales, orcas, seals, sea lions, and a bald eagle. The free pics were an added bonus. If anything, the trip could even be shortened, but we had to travel pretty far out to see all of the wildlife.
Incredible trip, hump backed whales allover the place including one that swam right up against the boat! Also saw bald eagles, sealions, tiny black tail deer and herons. Very comfortable and safe onboard large catamaran with complimentary hot and cold drinks (great hot chocolate). The staff were brilliant, captain Mike carefully positioned the boat with engine off so not to disturb the whales, meaning they were confident to approach and our guide ‘Dawson’ made the experience fascinating with lots of information about whales in general plus the different whale families that frequent the area. Cannot recommend enough, very grateful for an amazing evening

Beautiful experience on July 14. We spotted quite a few whales and one came right up near the boat. 😭 Also got to see seals, bald eagles, blue herons and even some deer. The boat ride was nice and chill as well. Thank you to our crew who were great and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

It was an amazing experience. The crew was awesome! The Captain was an exper and knew exactly where and was determined to find us all whales! The naturalists/whale experts were so knowledgeable and so friendly and you could just tell how much they loved what they were doing and wanted to share with us! Even if we hadn’t seen a whale, it was a beautiful catamaran ride all the way over to the islands and back. But of course we saw everything you could imagine, including a bald eagle perched high top a tree! Highly recommend this Tour!!

We were fortunate to have such a stellar crew of naturalists , captain and photographer. It made for a fun and informative experience. We were so lucky to see sea lions , seals, porpoise and bald eagles but the best part was seeing so many humpback whales slapping the water their flippers to attract other humpback whales , coming up for air and spraying water from their blowhole and the best part was when one came out of the water on the side of the boat to catch a look at us ! I had no idea they were so inquisitive. Everyone on the boat was in awe of these gentle giants . I would highly recommend this experience .

The naturalist Tobin was very knowledgeable, the captain Roman found whales and sea lions on a very comfortable a scenic circuit. Belen and Luke were very friendly and accommodating and Michelle in the office took great care of us. Couldn’t have been happier with the whole crew and the experience.

We had a great time on our whale watching tour! Our naturalist. Thomas, was incredible! We had our six year old son with us and Thomas was so attentive and responsive to his questions. He even gave him a junior naturalist workbook and helped him with some of the answers. We saw a great amount of Orcas. The staff was knowledgeable about the wildlife and shared interesting information. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the Vancouver area!

I had an absolutely incredible and memorable time on the Prince of Whales tour! We saw a pod of orcas and two humpbacks all in the same day. The crew was lovely, so expert at locating and identifying the whales, and their excitement over the wildlife was so contagious :) Made for a wonderful atmosphere on the boat. Especially grateful to the naturalists Tobin, Caitlin and Seb for their warmth and generosity, and of course for their encyclopedic knowledge of the whales! And thanks to Roman and Stephen for a very smooth and comfortable ride. Highly recommend this company!

We had an absolutely amazing time! Getting to see 16 orcas, humpback whales, and sea lions will be a story I tell for years to come! The guides Tobin, Caitlin, and Ashley were wonderful. They had lots of information about the animals that made the trip even more special. My favourite was Tobin explaining that getting to hear transient orcas is rare. Roman and Stephen were also very skilled captains, always getting us into the best and safest position to watch the whales.
