Great day for doing a boat tour. Kid did a great job with the live operator interesting stories and mostly true. Rid and Andrew did great work
We were looking for a short afternoon activity on a Sunday in October. It was a last minute thing that we booked the day of, 3 hours before. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we got to sit at the front of the boat. They were short staffed that day but it didn’t bother us a bit. The Captain and the guide worked together and it was fine. There is a restroom on board and drinks are available for purchase. We went out, under 3 bridges and came back. We did not see any wildlife like the trip before us that saw a few dolphins and sea lions. Oh well, not guaranteed but would have made it better. It was not an amazing adventure, it was a nice boat ride to see Vancouver from the water. kat, the guide was funny and did a great job.
It was a good trip! The meeting point was a little hard to find.
The experience was excellent. The captain was skillful, the mate gracious in serving drinks and taking photos for passengers, and the guide was knowledgeable and very funny. We highly recommend this tour company.
Kat (not DAVE!) was informative, funny and flat out the best. I’m sure the rest of the crew was good. We didn’t sink! So 5 stars all around. Kat rules, Mr or Ms owner. Raises abound!
There were NO signs close to the road for directions…NO ONE to direct you to the boats location….NO accommodations for those of us with mobility issues as I was in a lot of pain after the hike from the street and back for transport. And then to CHARGE for the measly selection of drinks as they should have been included in the fare price at least. And it was advised as 90 minutes and was not so where were the additional 30 minutes. Not a happy experience by far.
Thanks for your feedback Gregg. We do actually have 5 (yes five) signs showing where our location is. Four of them are large sandwich boards and one is a six foot tall poster. I’m sorry you missed all of them. Regarding our drink selection, we do have 10 different alcoholic options as well as 5 different soft drink options. This is the first time I’ve heard this is measly. I guess we can’t please everyone. Regarding the duration of your cruise, I’ve looked on our log book and it lasted for 1 hour 15 minutes. It was a new captain for us that day. He did cover the full route, he just went a bit quicker than we usually go. We’ve already spoken with him about this and he’ll go the correct speed next time.
Experience is likely to be weather dependent - we had sunshine and mild winds which was great. Crew are friendly and knowledgeable. You see a different side of Vancouver!
Very enjoyable couple of hours out on the water. An interesting and informative tour of the local area and its wildlife Highly recommend
This is a wonderful way to learn about Vancouver in a short amount of time. We loved our trip and even though it was raining we thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery was spectacular and the boat was really comfortable. Our guide Kat was really knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor! I would highly recommend this tour
It was great! All the crew was super friendly and very helpful! Felt really welcome! They recommended a local place and we checked it out. Awesome!! Will take family agsin when we come back! Thank you!
