Mit einem gekühlten Glas Prosecco in der Hand können Sie sich auf die Kreuzfahrt begeben, während Ihr Reiseleiter die Stadt zum Leben erweckt – und Geschichten, Sehenswürdigkeiten und versteckte Details erzählt, die Sie vom Ufer aus nie bemerken würden. Als wir in die Englische Bucht fahren, öffnet sich die Aussicht. Die North Shore Berge erheben sich in der Ferne und man lernt die natürliche Schönheit wirklich zu schätzen. Wir beginnen und beenden unsere Tour mit einer Fahrt durch False Creek, der von Jachthäfen, Restaurants und der berühmten Sea Wall gesäumt ist.
Wir passieren die geschäftige Granville Island mit einem großen Lebensmittelmarkt, Restaurants, einem Jachthafen, einem Theater und Geschäften.
Wir passieren den Stanley Park, den größten Stadtpark Nordamerikas. Wir sehen den Second und Third Beach sowie die belebte Seawall mit ihren vielen Radfahrern und Spaziergängern.
Wir kommen an der legendären Lions Gate Hängebrücke vorbei, die Vancouver mit der North Shore verbindet.
Wir fahren dann hinüber zur North Shore und umarmen die Küste von West Vancouver, einer der wohlhabendsten Gegenden Kanadas mit seinen vielen schönen Villen am Wasser.
Wir umarmen das Ufer weiter, bis wir den Lighthouse Park erreichen, der ein beliebter Ort für Robben und Seelöwen ist und sich auch hervorragend für Fotos eignet!
Dann geht es zurück über das Burrard Inlet in Richtung False Creek und auf der linken Seite haben Sie den besten Blick auf die Innenstadt von Vancouver. Auf unserer Überfahrt sind manchmal Schweinswale und Wale in der Nähe.

I joined the Vancouver adults‑only yacht cruise with prosecco and snacks, and it ended up being one of the most relaxing ways to see the city from the water. There were only eight guests on board, which made the whole experience feel intimate and unhurried. Captain Jake kept the ride smooth and steady, and Taylor, our host, was warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to chat with. Along with prosecco, I was also offered other drinks like a gin and tonic, which was a nice surprise. The views of the skyline and mountains were beautiful, and the smaller group size meant plenty of space to move around, take photos, and enjoy the breeze. It’s a great option if you want something adults‑only, relaxed, and a little bit special without feeling crowded.

The boat capt. came riding up on his bike at 2:30 our cruise time. No safety speech and almost zero commentary about the sights. The first mate was happy to answer a few questions but again it felt like a “no frills” effort. The snacks were left in the salon and we were told to help ourselves. Of course everyone enjoyed the views so it would have been nice to have the snacks served where most of us were seated. Sorry but not worth the price.
Hi Jim, I'm very disappointed to hear this and I'm going to get to the bottom of what happened. The crew are meant to be on board 30 mins before departure and we do usually serve the food and drinks to our customers. Please accept my humble apologies as I find out what went wrong.
