Nehmen Sie an einem abendlichen Ausflug teil und folgen Sie kryptischen Funkübertragungen und den Spuren zweier längst vergangener Wanderer, um den malerischen Trailhead zu finden, an dem die eigentliche Reise beginnt. Dieser Weg führt zu einem Ort voller Schönheit und Beweis dafür, dass die Legenden von Whistler wahr sind. Moment Factory, ein weltweiter Anführer für Video, Beleuchtung, Sounds und Spezialeffekte, wird in diesem Sommer mit einer brandneuen Show die Wälder von Whistler zum Leben erwecken. Dieser 1,5 km (Sommer) / 1 km (Winter) lange Wanderweg durch einen alten Wachstumswald entführt Besucher jeden Alters auf einen einstündigen multimedialen Nachtspaziergang auf der Suche nach verborgenen Wundern. Das gesamte Erlebnis findet außerhalb eines teilweise planierten, aber nicht asphaltierten Trailnetzes statt. Der Kurs führt zunächst über ein moderates Gefälle und ein paar Treppenstufen den Hang hinauf, bevor es wieder hinunter geht - die hintere Hälfte des Kurses ist flacher. Inklusive Auf- und Abstieg gibt es rund 275 Treppenstufen.

Jeden Abend nach Sonnenuntergang beginnt der Zauber von Vallea Lumina. Diese Aktivität ist familienfreundlich und alle Altersgruppen sind willkommen, die verborgenen Wunder des Waldes zu bestaunen. Die Gäste kommen in unserem malerischen Cougar Mountain Basecamp an, wo sie kostenlose Parkplätze und Angebote aus unserem Café wie heiße Schokolade, Kekse und S'mores-Kits genießen können, die sie an unseren Feuerstellen und Waschräumen genießen können. Zur Tourzeit werden die Gäste von unseren Rangern eingecheckt und beginnen den 1 km langen Weg durch einen verzauberten Wald. Die unbefestigten Pfade schlängeln sich durch den Wald und über Flüsse, wobei magische Lichter und mysteriöse Geräusche den Weg weisen. Vallea Lumina führt zu einem Ort voller Schönheit und Beweis dafür, dass die Legenden von Whistler wahr sind.

This was a magical experience for the kids at night. The lights and music were super cool and it wasn't creepy at all walking in the forest at night. The kids really enjoyed it.

It was so cool!! The forest was magical. There are a lot of stairs throughout the experience but doable. We loved the "base camp" and staff too. We highly recommend and would bring friends to do it again!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The website is highly misleading. While framed as an immersive forest walk, it actually tells a story of abduction of a grandfather and his granddaughter. We brought our children anticipating an impressive light show as one sees from the website as well as marketing videos, but the creepy sounds, haunting storyline, and frankly short experience (< 30 minutes) made for something that meaningfully varied from expectations. It left our kids (4 year old and 6 year old) terrified. Worse yet, I reached out The Adventure Group to express concern and frustration and they didn’t even write back. This wasn’t that surprising after we watched major mishaps with some of the groups trying to attend the show the night we were going. They don’t seem to have their stuff together, and the marketing of this experience felt intentionally misleading to extract money from patrons.

This experience is incredible. Awesome beautiful lights everywhere you look and holograms make this one of the most incredible light shows I’ve ever seen. You don’t want to leave……. I wanna live here.. 🥰 The running river with the salmon was amazing. I felt about this like the first time I saw Cirque du Soleil.….. pioneering.

As a Senior couple we found several issues. The shuttle location was hard to find (no directions to the location). The trail description is inaccurate for summer as there are multiple stairs with poor railings (slippery wood or loose rope rails). The inclines were quite steep and sometimes in places slippery. Fall hazards are numerous (we used a flashlight for our safety). The theme is magical and visual effects are meaningful, but this tour is best left to the more physically able (245 stairsteps!

My husband and I booked this while we visited Whistler last week. I had read reviews and even though there were remarks about the terrain and the steps, we were quite surprised to find the paths with loose big rocks, poorly lite and A LOT of stairs. The walk actually took away from the enjoyment of the lights and story because we were afraid of twisting an ankle. The guide at the beginning gave a half hearted story telling. Told we would see guides along the way and saw 1 at the beginning..
