We spent two full days in Cairo with Nasser on a private tour, and I genuinely cannot fault a single part of the experience. From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in extremely capable hands. Nasser is exceptionally knowledgeable, whatever question you ask, he has the answer. His understanding of Egyptian history, culture, and modern life is impressive, but what really stood out was his passion. He doesn’t just recite facts; he clearly loves his country and brings its history to life in a way that feels natural and engaging. At the Grand Egyptian Museum, he tailored the visit perfectly and made sure we saw the highlights like Tutankhamun without overwhelming us as we were fairly tired after a long day. What also set him apart was how well he handled everything around us. Cairo can be intense, but Nasser navigated it effortlessly. He knew exactly who to trust, who to avoid, and protected us from any potential scams without us even having to think about it. We always felt completely safe and looked after. He went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect. We were short on cash at times, and he would quietly cover things upfront and didn’t even bother counting when we paid him back later — that level of trust says a lot about his character. He’s outgoing, confident, and clearly respected by the locals. When he noticed how much we enjoyed the camel rides, he arranged something extra special — even organising for a horse to rear while we were riding for some incredible photos. Speaking of photos, he took loads for us and made sure we left with amazing memories captured properly. Nasser combines deep knowledge, professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for his clients. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Cairo — couples, families, or solo travellers. If you want a guide who is passionate, trustworthy, and completely on your side, he’s the one. I and my wife booked a tour of pyramids, sphinx, memphis and saqqara with egypt direct tours company and we are very satisfied with the service, guiding and the program. Arrived in Egypt with no itinerary and asked my hotel to handle my sightseeing, that’s how I ended up with this particular agency. I spent two days with Nasser and we covered A LOT of ground. He was knowledgeable, articulate, well mannered, and most importantly, let ME control the speed and duration of my visits to each particular attraction.
