Die unterirdischen Höhlen gehören zu den faszinierendsten Orten, die man auf der Insel Terceira besuchen kann. Diese Tour beinhaltet einen Besuch der Natal-Höhle (Lavaröhre) und des Algar do Carvão (Inneres des Vulkans) sowie der berühmten Furnas de Enxofre (Fumarolen) und des Freizeitgebiets Lagoa das Patas.

Der erste Halt der Tour wird an einem geheimen Ort namens Lagoa das Patas sein. An diesem Ort ist es möglich, den Bach zu besuchen, der aus der Serra de Sta Bárbara stammt, die Lagune zu besuchen und mit Tieren wie Enten und einigen Vögeln zu interagieren. Es ist ein Freizeitgebiet voller Leben und Natur!
Hier besuchen wir die berühmte Gruta Natal und Lagoa do Negro. An dieser Haltestelle haben Sie die Möglichkeit, durch von Mutter Natur geschaffene Lavatunnel zu wandern und den Lagoa do Negro aus nächster Nähe zu sehen.
Furnas do Enxofre besteht aus einem Gebiet, das mehrere Auslässe aggressiver vulkanischer Gase mit unterschiedlichen Temperaturen umfasst, von denen einige ziemlich hoch sind. Es hat einen kleinen Fußweg, auf dem Sie den Schwefelrauch aus nächster Nähe beobachten können.
Wir haben das Innere eines Vulkans im Zentrum der Insel Terceira besucht! Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, an das Sie sich Ihr Leben lang erinnern werden.

Even though we rented a car, it was super to have a driver and guide, Andre, take us to places unknown for an afternoon. His passion to share his knowledge with tourists was impressive and appreciated. The last cave it a global wonder!
One of the most fascinating adventures we have been on - walking in a lava tunnel and being inside a volcano and seeing and smelling sulfur springs -all in 1 afternoon’! This trip is worth the time and the money! And our guide Tony was awesome!
Another fantastic tour of Terceira Island! Everything was perfect from start to finish. André was once again an excellent guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and very passionate about the island. The Natal Cave, Algar do Carvão, the sulphur fumaroles, and Lagoa das Patas were all amazing and well worth visiting. Wonderful half-day excursion. Seeing the inside of the volcano is a unique experience and the visit to the Natal caves and the sulfur fumaroles and lagoon were also very interesting. The 3 hours fly by and the guide, Jaime, is attentive, very knowledgeable about the Azores and the route in particular, in addition to being very friendly and a great guide. 100% recommended

I had an absolutely fantastic experience! On this tour, I was able to explore the unique caves of Terceira – an unforgettable highlight of my trip. The tour was excellently organized and the pickup went absolutely smoothly. My guide André was simply great. With a lot of expertise, enthusiasm, and incredible patience, he explained the formation of the caves to me down to the smallest detail. Enjoyed this tour with Jamie during our 4th full day on Terceira. Very interesting areas of the island we had yet to see, and the information provided by Jamie made the experience that much better. Walking through the inside of a volcano was a first for me. Thank you again!
