City Cruise Wassertaxi Pass & Hop-on Hop-off Bus Sightseeing Tour

Excellent customer service experience Lena was very helpful in getting me on the right bus to make the best experience of the tour in Washington. Will highly recommend it and will do the trip again.

I recently took the hop-on hop-off bus tour and had the pleasure of being guided by Leana and Marie. They were absolutely amazing! Their knowledge of the city was impressive, and they shared interesting stories and insights at every stop. Both of them were incredibly friendly, approachable, and made sure everyone on board felt welcome and engaged. They went above and beyond to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure we had the best experience possible. Thanks to Leana and Marie, the tour was not only informative but also fun and memorable. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you get the chance to have them as your guides!

Our family had a wonderful day on the Hop-On Hop-Off Washington, DC tour. It was a great way to see the city, and we especially enjoyed the audio tour, which added interesting context throughout the ride. The only challenge we encountered was that some members of our family who wear hearing aids had difficulty hearing the narration. It would also be a nice improvement if there were benches at the pickup locations, especially for guests who may have difficulty standing for extended periods. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding customer service from your drivers, especially Tianee. I was assisting my mother-in-law, who uses a wheelchair, and Tianee went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, safely accommodated, and treated with genuine kindness and respect. Her patience, professionalism, and compassion made a lasting impression on our family and turned a great day into an exceptional one. Thank you to Tianee and the entire team for helping make our visit to Washington, DC such a memorable experience.

the water taxi was awesome - great time and a/c worked great - drop off at King st and took the free trolley thru Old Town. Big Bus was awful - had to find a stop to get on the bus. They was no one at the Union Station and no Big Bus available from there. when we were in DC for Cherry Blossums in March, Big Bus as at Union Station and it want wonderful. Took 1 Big Bus on July 3rd and it was fine then they put us in a different bus after 2 stops that had no A/C and it was 108 degrees- we sat in that bus for over 30 minutes. Then they put us in another bus and that bus had no A/C so we got off and went to the Water Taxi and left DC and Big Bus.

Choose the Trolley, not Big Bus! Big Bus dropped us off at Wharf, then refused to pick us up. We are two 70+ old ladies that had to walk to another pick-up point in the heat. Next day (Sunday) we got to pick-up point at 10:00 only to be told they weren’t starting til noon. Later that day they let us off three blocks from the Capital, saying they couldn’t stop there. Again, two old ladies walking-we were late for our tour. When I called to complain and asking for a refund, I got $13 back. Not worth the money, frustration and disappointment.

We took the BigBus ride on our first day here in Washington DC. The first thing I wanna mention, is how confusing the tour system was for us. I’m sure it wasn’t that confusing for everyone, but my family didn’t seem to catch on. Luckily, the staff working with BigBus were so helpful, and not only helpful, but very patient. They sat through my mom and sister bickering and helped us place our tickets so we could see all the critical points in DC with just one bus ride. The two employees I’d like to specifically name are Tajon and Von. The bus trips were not very long, and they are perfect for those who are only visiting for a few days. My only warning is the amount of people who take the bus ride. When we went on our trip the bus was full of people, so when it rained that day we didn’t have enough lower deck seats. I had to sit in the rain. Come to DC, take the BigBus tour, have Tajon and Von help you, and BRING AN UMBRELLA.
