Unsere einzigartige Tour führt Sie zu einigen der schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend, von Millionaire's View bis zu den Falls of Shin. Der Höhepunkt des Tages ist ein Besuch des magischen und prächtigen Dunrobin Castle. Die Gäste kommen rechtzeitig zur Falknereivorführung (die Sie nicht verpassen sollten) und haben genügend Zeit, um das Schloss, das Gelände und das Museum zu erkunden. Am Nachmittag besuchen Sie dann die Royal Burgh of Dornoch, bevor Sie zum Abschluss die Glenmorangie Distillery besuchen.

Der erste Halt ist der Millionaire's Viewpoint (wie er von den Einheimischen genannt wird) und es bleibt genügend Zeit zum Fotografieren, bevor die Tour über die Bonar Bridge ins Tal hinabsteigt, auf dem Weg zu den Falls of Shin und dem Salmon Leap.
Das Falls of Shin Besucherzentrum & Lachssprung. Atlantischer Lachs kann oft gesehen werden, wie er die Wasserfälle springt und den letzten Schritt in Richtung seines Geburtsorts macht, damit der Zyklus von vorne beginnen kann. Auch ohne Lachsspringen ist es ein wunderschöner Ort, der einen entspannten Start in den Tag ermöglicht. Das Besucherzentrum verfügt auch über Toiletten und ein Café.
Dunrobin Castle & Gardens ist bei Einheimischen sehr beliebt und bei unseren Gästen ist es immer gut. Die Falknerei ist erstaunlich - Andy (The Falconer) arbeitet seit über 25 Jahren mit einheimischen Vögeln und sein Wissen und seine Leidenschaft strahlen durch. Er ist ein sehr interessanter Charakter und viele Leute sagen, es sei der Beste, den sie auf der Welt gesehen haben. Das Schloss wirkt wie aus einem Märchen und in den schottischen Highlands sieht es großartig aus. Dunrobin hat auch eine wunderbar einzigartige Sammlung von Museen und Präparaten für Interessierte.
In Dornoch gibt es einen atemberaubenden goldenen Sandstrand und einen Weltklasse-Golfplatz, aber auch ohne diese Dinge bringt man Sie zu einer ganz anderen Zeit. Das alte Gefängnis wurde in ein Geschäft umgewandelt, in dem lokal hergestellte, handgefertigte Geschenke, Schmuck und Kunstwerke verkauft werden, wenn Sie nach Souvenirs Ausschau halten. Die Kathedrale zieht auch viele Besucher mit einer Sammlung von schönen Glasfenstern an. Dornoch ist auch ein großartiger Ort für ein Mittagessen mit vielen Optionen, darunter eine Bäckerei, eine Patisserie, eine Galerie, das Eagle Hotel (großartige Fish & Chips) und das Carnegie Courthouse, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist.

Gavin is big, bold and full of fun. His personality alone was worth the price. His stories and descriptions were fascinating and we really loved Dunrobin. He fit a lot of tour into what was unfortunately a too-short time frame and the boot full of whiskeys for tasting only added to the fun. We would book him again in a heartbeat.

We were on the Crown princess Ultimate Dunrobin Castle tour with Invergordon Tours. Everything was organized from the warm greeted by Gavin. The day was well planned and organized. Our tour guide, Joan was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. I would highley recommend this family run company for any tour!
Our guide, Joan, was unbelievably knowledgeable not only on the points of interest, but the routes she had us take were breathtaking! John, our driver, handled the bus admirably well. Recommendations for food and shopping were spot on! The tour company is family run, and it shows in the care they take with the booking, pickup and execution. I’d take another of their tours again a heartbeat!

This tour offers so much - Dunrobin Castle and the falconry show are spectacular, and you also get a beautiful, scenic ride through the highlands with stops at Falls of Shin where the salmon run, the charming village of Dornach and a distillery tour. Our guide, Joan, is a very personable local whose narrative was informative, yet fun and easy to listen to because of her personal touch. The owner of Invergordon Tours, Gavin, also popped in at various points in the tour and is great fun. You could tell they are focused on making sure everyone has a good experience. The instructions regarding pickup and where to find them when we got off the cruise ship were very clear. We highly recommend Invergordon Tours!!
