Fahren Sie etwa 45 km/1 Stunde auf der Nationalstraße 5 zum Udong Berg zuerst am Morgen, um das heiße Wetter zu vermeiden. Dort angekommen, werden Sie vom Fortgeschrittener geführt, um den Gipfel des Berges ca. 2 Stunden zu erkunden und dabei von Norden nach Süden auf und ab zu gehen. Danach besuchen Sie das größte buddhistische Zentrum in Kambodscha, das sich neben dem Ausläufer befindet. Dort drüben werden Sie mit dem Fahrer etwa eine Stunde laufen. Es ist eine gute Idee, die Snacks mitzubringen, da das Mittagessen um 13 Uhr auf Silk Island am Fluss mit toller Aussicht sein wird. Auf dem Weg zur Seideninsel überqueren Sie den Tonle Sap Fluss mit der Brücke und müssen den Mekong Fluss mit der Fähre überqueren. Der Besuch einer Seidenfarm ist auch mit der Landwirtschaft unterwegs wirklich interessant. Diese Tour ist inklusive aller Eintrittsgelder, Wasser- und Bootskreuzfahrt erklären Sie auch an jeder Haltestelle.
Gehen Sie etwa 2 Stunden auf und ab, um fünf verschiedene Orte auf dem Gipfel des Berges zu sehen. Es gibt viele Geschichten zu erzählen. Der Tuk-Tuk-Fahrer fährt auch mit.
Hier werden wir innerhalb des Geländes gehen, da wir nicht in den Meditationsorten fahren können. Dieser Ort ist wirklich gut, um etwas über den Buddhismus zu lernen und gute Fotos von den Berg- und Tempelgebäuden und schönen Garten zu machen.
Um nach Silk Island zu fahren, müssen wir eine Fähre nehmen, die den Mekong Fluss ca. 10 Minuten überquert. Sobald wir dort ankommen, halten wir an einem lokalen Restaurant zum Mittagessen mit einem großartigen Blick auf den Mekong Fluss. Danach fahren Sie durch das Dorf und sehen dann mit dem Fortgeschrittener in das Innere der Seidenfarm. Mittagessen ist nicht inbegriffen.

I went on three tours with Mr Sop. I did the kickboxing one, silk island and a tuktuk to the killing fields. Mr Sop is very knowledgeable and tells great stories to explain the history and culture of Cambodia. I had an early flight and Mr Sop helped organise a quick tour of the killing fields so I could see it before I left at a very good price. Highly recommend especially if you need to tailor the tour to your plans

Mr. Sop was by far the best guide we had during our stay. He took us to amazing places like Udong Mountain and the Buddhist temples of Vipassana Dhurak, and between each stop, he shared fascinating Khmer myths and legends, the country’s history, and its culture—with plenty of humor and good spirits. He was incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable and even providing snacks and drinks throughout the tour. Furthermore he is a great photographer 😉 We can’t recommend Mr. Sop enough for anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty of this country!
