Das City Palace Museum, Udaipur, ist im ikonischen, 450 Jahre alten Palast untergebracht, dem ehemaligen Wohnsitz der Herrscher von Mewar. Durch die Bemühungen von Maharana Bhagwat Singh aus Mewar (reg. 1955–1984 n. Chr.) wurde es 1969 offiziell zum öffentlich zugänglichen Museum erklärt. Das Mardana Mahal und das Zenana Mahal des City Palace in Udaipur wurden der Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) vermacht, einer von Maharana Bhagwat Singh selbst gegründeten Stiftung. Damit spendete er auch eine große Spende für die Sache. So entstand das City Palace Museum, Udaipur. In fünfzig Jahren; Das City Palace Museum ist enorm gewachsen und zieht immer mehr Besucher aus aller Welt an.
Getreu ihrem Titel ist die Stadt der Seen – Udaipur – von einer Reihe von Seen umgeben, die ihre Besucher mit ihrem blauen Wasser und malerischen Ausblicken faszinieren. Ein solcher künstlicher See, der mitten in der Stadt Udaipur liegt, ist der Pichola-See, der im Jahr 1362 n. Chr. erbaut wurde. Der nach dem nahegelegenen Dorf Picholi benannte Pichola-See ist eine der berühmtesten Touristenattraktionen in Udaipur. Flankiert von Inseln, Palästen, Tempeln, Villen, Ghats und Restaurants bietet der Pichola-See für jeden etwas. Der Jagdish Temple ist ein großer Hindutempel in der Mitte von Udaipur in Rajasthan, etwas außerhalb des königlichen Palastes. IT wird seit 1651 kontinuierlich verehrt. Eine große touristische Sehenswürdigkeit, der Tempel hieß ursprünglich der Tempel von Jagannath Rai, wird aber heute Jagdish-ji genannt. IT ist ein bedeutendes Denkmal in Udaipur Sie können jedoch auf wichtige Touristenziele in Indien stoßen, die die Bräuche und Traditionen ihrer Stadt durch die Erhaltung von Kunst und Handwerk schützen. Allein Indien hat 128 Seen, von denen sich die fünf schönsten Seen in der Stadt der Seen, Udaipur, befinden. Der Udai-Sagar-See, der Pichola-See, der Jaisamand-See, der Fateh-Sagar-See und der Rajsamand-See machen die Stadt zusammen zu einem unglaublichen Land voller Schönheit und Vergnügen. Der Fatehsagar-See bietet eine der verlockendsten Wasserqualitäten; Die Stille des Wassers spiegelt die Ruhe der Natur wider. Der Sajjangarh-Palast liegt auf einem Bansdara-Gipfel des Aravalli-Hügels (3100 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel) und ist aus atemberaubendem weißem Marmor erbaut. Nach dem Plan von Maharana Sajjan Singh sollte der Palast neun Stockwerke haben, aber aufgrund des frühen Todes des Königs wurde der Plan auf Eis gelegt. Es wurde jedoch später von Maharana Fateh Singh, seinem Nachfolger, fertiggestellt. We had a great tour at Udaipur, with very knowledgeable, wise and efficient guide cum driver, Mr. Mahendra Ji. There was no single dull moment with him. We were explained about every single street of Udaipur and its history apart from sightseeing. We started around 9 am and got back around 7, and covered almost all places, till Sajjangarh fort and on request he even took us to Bahubali hills. Mr. A. K Goyal was in constatnt touch and he was checking where we were, or whether we were having any issues. Guide, Mr. Vishal was also very nice. It was value for money. We enjoyed a lot, and Mahendra ji was always so polite and passionate about explaining us everything, he took us to hidden gem spots too. Overall great experience with this team at Udaipur. 10/10 from my side
We only had one day to visit Udaipur, so we decided to book this tour, and it was the best decision we could have made. We took the tour in Spanish, and I must say that our guide, Mr. Devendra, spoke our language perfectly. He gave us excellent explanations, and we visited the main sights of the city. The driver, Mr. AJ, arrived right on time with the car spotless and drove very carefully. They were all very professional, and we had a wonderful day. We highly recommend it.

We explored some of the most iconic attractions of Udaipur, including the beautiful City Palace and the sacred Jagdish Temple. Both places were rich in history and offered stunning architecture and spiritual vibes. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Neemuch Mata Temple via ropeway. The ropeway ride was an amazing experience, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills. It was peaceful and truly enjoyable. My friends and I had an outstanding experience all thanks to our exceptional guide, Raj, who was extremely attentive, informative, and an expert photo-taker. We appreciated his passion for history and the level of care he put toward making our day trip to the Taj Mahal unforgettable — from strategically guiding us through shady spots to beat the heat during the tour, to recommending a great local restaurant for lunch and sharing his deep knowledge of Indian and local Agra culture. We also appreciated the our thoughtful and highly skilled driver, Javed, who brought us to and from our hotel in Delhi to Agra.
My group and I had the best trip to the Taj Mahal! We did it in one day. The entrance was 1300 rupees. April was very hot so we had to go early in the morning or at sunset time. There were not a lot of people due to the heat. Our tour guide Raj was very knowledgeable and knew every corner of Agra. Everything was perfect. He took the best pictures!!!! He even knew where to eat and how to travel around Agra. You need to book with them!
Our trip was made truly special by our guide, Shailesh, and our driver, Ajay. Shailesh’s depth of knowledge is impressive—he provided fantastic context for every attraction and gave us great tips on what to look out for at each stop. Ajay was incredibly kind and a pleasure to travel with throughout the day. What we appreciated most was their flexibility. When the Monsoon Palace became difficult to access, they didn’t miss a beat and curated a list of alternative spots to ensure our day stayed packed with great sights. Note for future travelers: Be sure to carry some extra cash for the boat ride and the occasional tuk-tuk in the Old City (which is standard for navigating the narrow streets). These small out-of-pocket costs were well worth the seamless experience provided by such a professional team!
